TWO YEARS LATER AND STILL GOING STRONG!
I'm honestly shocked by the negative reviews. I've been using mine since the summer of 2023 and have had zero problems. The battery shows no signs of fading. I mainly use this on my patio to cordlessly cool things down when dining outside during the hot and humid summer months. The ability to put the fan anywhere with no thought about an outlet nearby makes it far more useful than you'd imagine. The breeze it creates also helps keep the mosquitos away from the table. I even figured out an unexpected use: this powerful fan gives me a smoke-free patio when I fire up a chimney full of charcoal--I simply put the fan in front of the grill and blow the smoke in the opposite direction. Based on my experience I'm totally happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope you find it helpful in making a buying decision.

This fan is cool!
I bought this last Summer to use while clearing out my parents' estate. There are several out-buildings that need cleared, and not all of them have power. I've tried some of the smaller battery-powered fans, and they don't cut it. I decided to spend a little more for a bigger fan with even bigger claims.Right out of the box it charges quickly and easily. The battery lasts longer than I do on the job, and it moves an incredible amount of air. I was beyond impressed with how much air it moves. This fan has been an absolute lifesaver. Well worth the price I paid for it.

Will recommend
I have two (working in construction in Luisiana). I keep them on high speed when I am in my connex with no AC unit and turn them off when I leave and a full battery last me the whole day. Doesn’t take long to charge them (1 1/2 hours). Quiet and easy to store. Will be buying two more!

Horrible Customer Service
We have purchased a few of these fans and as long as the fan doesn’t have an issues then you should be set. The problem is If there is any issue with the fan, this company absolutely does not stand behind their ‘warranty’. One of our Geek Aire fans stopped charging. Seeing as how it is a ‘rechargeable’ fan, that was a big problem, My husband emailed the company about the issue and we waited for a response. After several weeks of waiting, I located the company’s phone number and contacted them that way. By that time, we were 2 days past the 1 year warranty. The representative had me send an email with the pertinent info. I received an odd response stating that since I stated that I purchased the fan in 2021 (😳?!?-no I didn’t) it was out of coverage. I immediately responded reiterating that I purchased it in 2023, NOT 2021. I received no response. I then attempted to call several more times over the course of the following week, but would get sent to a voice mail box that was too full to accept messages. I eventually was able to reach a representative again with whom I explained the issue. She said she could see that I actually purchased the fan in 2023, not 2021, but it was outside of the warranty. I again explained that we had contacted them within the 1 year warranty. They just hadn’t responded to us within that time period. She then asked what email we had written to and stated that they didn’t have access to that email. I pointed out that the email we used was the one listed on both the Geek Aire website and Facebook page for customer service. She then just started repeating over and over, ‘Sorry, it has already been declined’. I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager or someone else that could assist me if she wasn’t able to, but she just continued to say, ‘Sorry, it has been declined’. Then she hung up on me.

Good, but not Great
I have tried several battery operated fans for use outdoors. None of them satisfactory satisfied my needs. The fact is, there is no battery operated fan that can push the amount of air that a powerful plug in fan can. However, I did not want to have 100 ft extension cords on my lawn between my garage and the two outdoor kennels for my German Shepherd Dogs. This is because every week when the lawn would be cut, I would have to unplug and put away the power cord so it would not get cut, a tedious and unpleasant chore. Therefore I was looking for and needed was a battery operated outdoor fan that could push enough air to cool the dogs and which had good battery life. After a lot of research and based on reviews, I bought two of these, the 12 inch blade model.Of all the fans I have tried, and I have tried several, these are the best. They are well made and very quiet, although this was not an issue since I only plan to use these outdoors. They are easy to carry from my garage where I charge them to my backyard where the kennels are, a distance of 150 feet..The two things I really was looking for was battery life and air flow. The kennels are 10 ft by 10 ft with a bed in the middle perhaps 4 feet from the bars. With the battery on high and no wind, the breeze the fans create reaches the dog bed. If there is wind, it does not and the dogs have to curl up right next to the fan. I do not place the fans inside the kennels for safety sake, although that might be okay because the fans have a good grill. How long does the battery run on high---five hours max. I have no idea how long it would run on half power because it simply does not push enough air on anything less than high.Probably the 16 inch blade model would push a lot more, but it was also $55 dollars more than the 12 inch. I reiterate, this is the best of the outdoor fans I have used to date. But battery life of 5 hours is not enough. I need a fan that can run for 6-8 hours. And air flow could be strong but satisfactory I guess. Now, if you plan to use the fan indoors, and I did test it just to see how it was, this fan is terrific. Quiet and it can push a breeze across at 12 ft by 12 ft room.
