Worked perfectly
Exact fit. Easy installation. Great Price before the tarrifs, (now it is $10.00 more). I am a formerly ASE Certified Master Tech but I'm old and fat and I still got it done in 1.5 hours. Look at your heater hose tube and think about replacing it as well.

Good Purchase
Appears to be at least a well made as the OEM and installation was relatively straight forward. My Jeep now runs at a very steady temperature. I guess we'll see about longevity but I have no reason to think it won't last

Great buy, '01 XJ Cherokee
Great buy, name brand for under $20?? This went on a '01 Cherokee 4.0L. I also bought a new Dorman 56398 inlet tube to make it a quicker install in the parking lot. Worked just great, about a 2 hour evolution, part fits like new works great no problems. Also bought thermostat housing, stat, etc, but bolt felt like it was going to snap on removal so I left the old stuff in place. The swap without removing the stat housing is possible but it would be better to take the stat housing off if you can. The housing will impede your ability to get a clear view of the gasket surface which needs to be clean for a leak free job. Pump came with paper gasket, I used permatex to make sure we had no leaks. Housing bolts come out easy. As a suggestion - before you loosen the accessory belt, take the water pump pulley bolts off. That way the accessory belt will help hold the pump from spinning. Also, if you put a wrench on an adjacent bolt as well, you can use that extra leverage to keep the pump from spinning. Otherwise it's tough to get the pulley bolts off. Same on the install, tighten those after you have the accessory belt in place and tight.

Water pump is as good as new. Fit perfect on 99 XJ 4.0
I purchased this water pump due to my old housing looking a bit worse for wear and weeping from the rear of the pulley. Installation was straight forward and the supplied gasket provided a leak free replacement. Make sure the gasket surface is clean from old gasket material. In my case the old pump had a RTV and paper gasket from the previous owner so a wire wheel was necessary. Remember to torque the bolts appropriately when installing and there should not be any issues with cracking / malfunctions. Waterpump torque specs : 17 ft lbs (204 in lbs) I replaced almost my entire cooling system when this was done. Links to other compatible parts below. What's that puddle under the car ?^!#$$@!
So I got out to the car the other day and there was a small puddle under the engine... Reaching under and taking a little sample, too clean to be oil and no smell. It must be coolant. Start the engine up and the coolant was trickling down from where the hose meets the pump. Well, it's either the hose or the pump, they are both pretty old. Just replace them both then since the hose has got to come off anyway. The BOSCH I used before is no longer in production so I thought I'd give this a try. The pump came with paper gasket and 4 studs (which I didn't need). Slop some INDIAN HEAD gasket shellac (AKA Permatex Aviation Form A Gasket) and both side of the paper gaskets then bolt it on. All good.

Buena calidad y material, ojalá que dure un tiempo, la instalación no es tan complicada siempre y cuando se tenga algo de experiencia en la mecánica.
