Sharp and angled great.
This is a great tool. I’ve used it on 15 or so deer and elk hides and it just couldn’t be better. I was trying to use a draw knife and a tool. I made myself using an old flat bastard file but this is really the solution to fleshing.

Sharp and worked great
Was worth the investment since I had four hides to do. The blade was sharp, kept its edge, and made short work of the hides. Would recommend for someone who had lots of hides to do. I may not have purchased such an expensive blade for just one hide. Depends on your value for time.

Good.
As advertised. This is the right size for what I am doing. I do foxes and the ones I get are super fatty. I've never had one come in under 25 pounds. There's just rolls and gobs of fat. It's disgusting and at the same time kind of funny. This thing cuts through it pretty well. I have a hard time sparing the saddle. Sometimes there is a quarter inch of fat under the saddle. I am no expert with this tool. I have cut a few holes in skins and it is frustrating as all get out, but it's not the tool, it's me. I could probably do just about any animal with this and the right beam. It's a good size.

very nice little fleshing knife
This is a very nice little fleshing knife. We use it for fleshing coyote furs. Has lasted for at least 10 furs, and still looks and works like new. We also run a small store at home, and the first product we put up for sale was this 12 inch flesher. Already showed this flesher off on youtube. And the price is very good! I know most hunting stores around here sell those for about double the price. Happy I bought this, and will be buying many more very soon! Also recommending it to anyone who is into hunting and trapping, this makes skinning so much easier! It's a must buy!

Perfect for the job
I bought this to flesh out our cow hide. It worked perfectly and got the job done. Good value for your money.

Not recommended for deer hides
Was not impressed with this tool. It was awkward to use. Used it to clean a deer hide. The sharp side cuts into the hide too easily and the dull side does little to push fat and membrane. Wouldn't recommend for cleaning a deer hide.

Great fleshing knife!
Great fleshing knife! I like that it is easy to sharpen. Took me 1 hide to figure out the best way to use it. I have now fleshed 4 deer hides and one fox. Great knife for the money!!!

Perfect for fleshing. Great quality. Nice thick blade. Really sharp, might dull it a bit before hand.

Good knife, although a bit over priced.
