This is very powerful! My 5 month kitten just got spayed and she is so hyper the vet prescribed her some gabapentin to keep her calm for at least the first few days so that her incision can heal properly. I felt like the gabapentin was working just so-so, she would still have some hyper bursts and it would wear off really quickly. I ordered this to use as an alternative after the first couple days instead of gabapentin so that she wouldn't have to be drugged up for too long. I followed the correct dosage from the bottle, even giving a little less than it called for based on her weight. About 30 to 40 minutes passed and then she was ZONKED out all night completely sleepy and lying on her back purring for hours straight. Pretty funny but also a bit shocking. In the future I will give her even less but it's nice to know the formula is effective.

I read about this product on Facebook and how the calm dogs down. I only used half of what it said to give my Yorkie and it actually come down. His anxiety attack. Works pretty darn good

I've been buying this product for the last several years, since I first took our pup on an airplane and thought it would be a good idea to give him a boost into soothing him during the flight. This seems to be a great help in calming our pup down when he's anxious; it generally takes effect about 30 to 60 minutes after giving him a dose. Each bottle has a three=year shelf life, however, the one I just received in the mail today expires 4/2027 so it's already 10 months into that three-year period.

The bottle was un screwed inside the packaging, and it smells really bad. Lost a lot of the product down the drain cleaning up the mess. It does seem to work for a short time. We’re giving it to our 6 month old kitten who hasn’t been neutered yet; he has been tormenting my older male cat. It does wear off after about an hour or so. We’ve been giving 50mg at night.

I was extremely skeptical about this product when I bought it. I have two female cats that are very aggressive toward each other. I gave them each the valerian, about every 4 to 6 hours with their food. At first, I did not believe that it was working. They were still being bratty to each other. Now, I did not expect this to be a miracle worker but to me it looked as if it wasn't having any side effects. So I stopped giving it to them. I immediately saw the difference. They both started being more aggressive with each other after I stopped giving it to them. I gave them both a dose again, and they went back to just being jerks to each other, but not aggressive. I didn't realize how much the product was helping until I stopped using it. The dosage is a bit hard to get down, but once you figure it out it really works. It worked so well, that I used it for my friends dog who has a lot of anxiety.

Given the positive reviews and the promise of a natural solution, I had high hopes that this product would help calm her down. Unfortunately, my experience with it was far from satisfactory.Firstly, I followed the instructions meticulously, ensuring that I administered the correct dosage at the recommended times. Despite this, I saw absolutely no improvement in my poodle's behavior. She remained just as anxious and jittery as before, if not more so. I kept using the product for several days, hoping that it might just need some time to take effect, but sadly, it never did.Not only did Richard’s Organic Pet Calm fail to work, but it also seemed to cause some mild digestive upset. My poodle, who usually has a hearty appetite, began eating less and had a bit of an upset stomach. This was the last thing I expected from a product marketed as organic and safe.Given the complete lack of positive results and the adverse effects, I am incredibly disappointed with Richard’s Organic Pet Calm. It was a waste of money and time, and I would definitely not buy it again. I am currently in the process of seeking a refund, and I sincerely hope the company honors this request.In conclusion, based on my experience, I would not recommend Richard’s Organic Pet Calm to anyone. If you're looking for a reliable solution to help calm your pet, I suggest exploring other options. This product, unfortunately, did not live up to its claims and left me feeling very let down.
