The Best Grill Pan I've owned
I am very picky about my pans as I have a glass topped electric range. This pan functions perfectly, heating to a high temperature to create those beloved grill marks on my chicken, fish, beef and even veggies. It has not inflicted any damage on my cooktop, grills like an outdoor grate, and cleans up like a dream.

Scanpan is great!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas to continue to fill out his Scanpan collection. He loves it. This particular grill pan has deeper, more defined grooves for a great grilling effect. It's as close to grilling without a grill that you can probably get. Like all Scanpan products, this is sturdy, heavy, cooks evenly, and cleans easily. Great purchase! I know we'll still be using this 20 years from now.

Love this scan pan grill
Definitely worth the money. I have an "unapproved by the gestapo Biden-administration" gas stove and cooking steaks in a pan wasn't all that appealing. This grill pan works amazingly though. It's definitely worth it.

Excellent Quality pan
I love my pan! It is heavy and high quality. The non-stick coating really does work and I am able to grill meats and such and have them look like they came off a gas or charcoal grill. Washes up like a dream too!

better than an outdoor grill
I've gone through many gas grills over the years, & this is the best way to grill indoors. Been using it to make turkey burgers every weekend for over 2 months, & I really like this pan. Food doesn't stick to it, it's solid, easy to clean, & the price was very reasonable. Definitely would recommend it to others.UPDATE: after 1 year, the coating started rubbing off. I replaced this with a Lodge cast iron grill pan. Only thing that could flake off now is olive oil. I doubt that'll negatively affect me.

Great pan for grilling a ribeye!
Get it hot first, no oil, just put the steak on, rotate after your desired level of doneness to make x lines. Flip and repeat! Happy with this pan!

Scanpan Grill Pan
I purchased a full Scanpan cook set, along with several additional pieces, including the 10.5" square grill pan. Luckily, these have a lifetime warranty, as I've sent 3 pieces back due to the non-stick coating failing, and recently this grill pan also started flaking off the non-stick coating on the top of several of the grill ridges. I'll be sending back for a replacement, then packing up for use later as they are nice heavy pans. Scanpan may have changed the coating process recently, as my pans are 4 years old now. With so many pans out for replacement, I purchased an All-Clad set, however, I just say the replacement process went smoothly.I am now looking for a good grill pan and will probably try a Calaphon square grill pan, as my friend swears by hers which is over a year old, uses it several days a week, and still holding up. I rated it a 3, but would rate other Scanpans a 4.

I never used 'teflon" coated pans except for eggs and other foods that did not need to be cooked with high heat. The downside of traditional non-stick cookware is that they cannot withstand the high temperatures needed to caramalize meats. I was skeptical about Scanpan's ability to brown a steak. Well, I'm pleased to finally have the perfect fry pan.....one that will take the heat that my old iron skillet can in order to produce the flavorful crust on a ribeye and still clean up with a few paper towels.
