Highly recommend
I bought 3 of these (one for each level of my townhouse) when I was forbidden from bending for 6 weeks after my back surgery. These work great. They are lightweight, but strong, and can even pick tiny objects off the floor (e.g., a single Cheerio). Highly recommend.

Handy Tool with Great Reach and Grip
The 32-inch length gives me plenty of reach, making it easy to grab items from high shelves or deep corners without having to stretch or bend over. One of the standout features is the strong grip and magnetic tip. The grip is firm and reliable, perfect for picking up everything from small items to larger objects. The magnetic tip is a nice touch, especially for picking up metal items like keys or small screws that might otherwise be tricky to handle. The tool is surprisingly lightweight, which makes it comfortable to use for extended periods. The foldable design is also a huge plus; it’s easy to store away when not in use, which is great for keeping my space clutter-free.My only minor issue is that the folding mechanism can be a bit stiff at first, but it loosens up with use. Also, while the magnetic tip is handy, it’s not strong enough for very heavy items.

Great Helper After Back Surgery
I am just 10 days past back surgery when I was told not to bend or twist for 2 weeks. I live alone and know how frequently I drop stuff, so I ordered this grabber and am SO happy I did!! It won't pick up large, heavy items (but then, I am NOT supposed to life more than 5 lbs. at this point), but it is amazing for the small things!! The day after surgery as I was taking meds, my antibiotic slipped out of my hand and onto the floor. I am cautious about this happening because I have two dogs who like to pick up anything and everything that hits the floor......especially in the kitchen! Before they could notice, I reached for my grabber, and it easily picked up this small capsule and kept me from having to bend to the floor to retrieve it. Just in these 10 days, I have used it for countless items to keep me from bending while I heal, and as I continue to get older (I am 69) with chronic back issues, I can see how useful it will continue to be :-)

Best style available.
Since 2011, I have needed to use a reacher/grabber to get things off the floor, or things to high to reach. I have tried various types, sizes, etc. But this of grabber is the best. I can pick up dropped needles or pins from the floor, tiny pieces of paper and just about every thing I have needed to pick up. I have one in my living room, bedroom, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom and my vehicle! (I drop things often) and because I use a cane or walker in the house, and a power chair in public, I need one every where I go! I wish they folded down smaller, like the size of BBQ tongs, (So I could stash in my tote bag that is what I use while using my power chair) .

Strong stick, but not a strong grab
The stick part is very strong, doesn't bend at all. The grabby part was not strong enough and didn't take long to stop working.

A very handy tool.
I like them. I have my third one in the cart (I keep them strategically located)It's very light, easy to use with arm stretched out a bit for extra reach!Critters, children, and clumsyness gets items into hard to reach places, this doodad helps get them out.I _can_ still kind of slowly get down and crawl around (with sound effects) but why??? :-)I had a big smile on my face as I picked up a lightweight delivery with the door barely open when it was dangerously cold outside.

Handy tool
Love it so much, I have a longer one for outside to harvest tomatoes I can't reach. A shorter one in the laundry room to reach stuff at the bottom of the washing machine. And one short one in the bedroom to pickup anything.
