Thanks for making this Good Gripper cincher! I've become so tired of reusing the twist ties that come on plastic bags to reclose them, and my old fingers don't twist like they used to.These grippers are good in the kitchen for bread, chips, and cereal bags, etc., in the laundry to hang dry delicates on hangers w/o leaving marks, around the house to group cables (be careful about potential overheating--even with the big brand name reusable stick&clip gadgets this can happen ), in the closet to keep scarves/delicates on hangers, and they even clip together graded sets of papers if I'm in a pinch.These "cinchers" are FANTASTIC!

These will transform your bread-storing experience. Every time you remove and discard one of those twist-ties or plastic tabs and replace it with one of these, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment - you have made the world a better place. Simple, cheap, and sturdy. They work best on bread wrappers or other lighter weight bags; they will work on some medium weight bags such as a freezer bag of fruit, but they aren't designed to be used on heavier bags. Anyone who sees them comments on what a great idea they are. Get some and impress you friends and family.

One of the problems with my husband is after 15 years marriage, we would twist the twist tie the opposite direction. Then there was the problem of finding where you put the twist tie down. It keeps the contents as fresh as a twist. All of that is solved with these Good Grips cinch. We keep them in the front of our cooking utensil drawer and with their bright colors are easy to find. We now have 9 of them. I do not want to run out of them. I have always loved the OXO brand, as to me it means a good product.

Like everyone, I guess, I have been continually irritated with the overall inefficiency of twist ties -- or worse, the dreaded bread-bag plastic clip -- as a means of re-closing a plastic bag. These Oxo clips do as good a job holding a plastic bag tightly closed as does a tightly twisted twist tie (and a million times better than trying to reuse a plastic clip). And they are super, super easy to use -- much easier than a twist tie. Besides that sheer utility, because of their bright colors, they easy to spot in the drawer and easy to see once applied, to confirm bag closure. Mild caveats: (1) These don't do a dramatically *better* job than a twist tie -- but they're just as good and much, much more usable. So, based on my experience and observation, I would not use these to close a food bag going into the freezer, just as I would not use a twist tie for that purpose, since that closure method admits air. (2) The aperture where the twisted bag is inserted in the Oxo clip is relatively small, although more than roomy enough for a twisted thin-plastic bag (such as a grocery-store produce bag or bread bag). I would not try to use if for a stiff chips bag -- for those I use a tight folding held in place by a bag clip.

I wouldn't normally buy something like this because it's an expensive piece of plastic to replace something I get for free, but I'm really happy with these. They look and feel great, way more solid feeling than generic branded versions, they're easy to use, and they're harder to lose track of on the counter and won't put holes in the bag or fall off when the bag untwists itself. If you feel the need to spoil yourself on the cheap, don't hesitate to buy these.

My sister-in-law showed us these bag closers. We promptly ordered two sets and ordered a set for my sister. They are an amazing solution instead of lost twisty ties or broken flat bread tags. So easy to use - twirl the bag of bread and clamp it shut with this little gadget. The flat bread tags were a real pain to use and usually broke. These little bag cinch gadgets are wonderful- no more problems with keeping our bread securely closed. Great purchase!

I wasn’t sure how well these would work, but they are fabulous! Easier to use than the plastic square twists that come on the bread loaf bags from the grocery store and way sturdier that the twist ties. Not likely to misplace one of these either as they are very bright colors and good sizes. My family loves them so much, I bought an extra set to have them on hand.
