I have used Czech & Speake No.88 for years and would highly recommend it. Clean smelling and lasting fragrance for which I've received numerous compliments. The Czech & Speake Vetiver Vert Cologne was a waste of money, in my assessment. Vague, dull, semi-bitter fragrance that, at the price, is not worth it. I would think twice about buying this product without, at least, sampling it (impossible though Amazon or online) to see if you can stand it. I have only written one other review in 20 years of online purchases but had to with this loser.

I learned about this cologne from some old magazine article where they ask famous people what their favorite item is... Can't remember who, but they said this was their indispensable scent... Reviews from others looked great, people raved... To my nose it is terrible. It is so disagreeable that my fiancé literally hid it, so that I can't wear it.I wanted so badly to like it. Seriously I did. I think there is a solid life lesson here. Sometimes in life you have to smell something before you buy it.

I have purchased the cologne for MANY years,but what I received was NOT pure cologne. It had an old alcohol smell to it....a waste.

The product is as they say. Its lasting and its base really rounds out the whole experience.
