My daughter has an old Klutz book that teaches lots of different variations on Cats Cradle. The book also stores the string and is sort of a beloved classic. But it long ago lost the string. This set of affordable strings includes six pre-made strings with bright and fun neon colors, meaning the book is back to life and the girls are creating again. It's simple, screen-free fun that is affordable and accessible to most kids. This is a fair set of six cradles in a standard length that seems like it will hold up quite well.

Nice length, great quality, and lots of fun for cats cradle lovers. These strings hold up well, are soft and silky to use. There are a lot of strings in this package for the price making it an excellent value for the price.

I was glad to find these. I found an old book of cat's cradle instructions but didn't have the string that was supposed to be with it. I had no idea how big to make the string. These are perfect and the kids have enjoyed figuring out all of the patterns in the book. The crazy coloring was a hit, too. They were a good deal.

Would rate a 5 star if elasticized. Not the string you want to teach a youngster how to play cats cradle. String is colorful and well constructed for playing; just not teaching young hands as they need “give” in the string to grasp concept.

I love Cats Cradle, Jacobs Ladder, and other string games! Raised my daughter on these and bought them for my granddaughters. These games keep children engaged in a different way and helps reduce screen time! Spacial awareness and manual dexterity are critical to learning and development! This is a simple way to engage your child in learning while teaching them to entertain themselves! I purchased the book and extra strings because strings always get lost and friends always want to learn. This is a great gift for a birthday or holiday as well!

Great memories of cats cradle from when I was young. I wanted to share this game with my kids and this was perfect.

I wanted some of these rainbow strings to use for my daughters slumber party. I ordered a pack of 20 from another seller but it didn’t arrive on time so I ordered these. The day of the party the original order came in so I never opened these. However, you can see from the picture that one of the other brand strings is the same size as this pack of 6. These are much thinner . Colors are great. Looks to be of good quality just not as heavy duty. I chose the others which I believe will hold up better. I taught the girls the string games from my youth and they had a ball. I would not recommend this brand.

My son and I are having so much fun with these. If you need it shorter they are easy to cut and then meld together again with a lighter. I did have one break but again I just used a lighter to reattach the string. They are so pretty and better than a plain fidget spinner to keep young hands occupied.
