Great product, it worked the first time using it. There are a lot of different brands out there, might be worth looking into a larger size. The bottle is very small, but I really can't complain because it does work amazingly. My husband is not a huge fan of the taste, it is almost like a molasses & mint combo, but it really takes bad breath away and I didn't mind the taste.

Ehh... it's alright. Doesn't taste too terrible but definitely not as minty as I expected based off other reviews.... I also chipped a tooth today after a week of using this toothpaste. Not sure if it was just me, or the toothpaste. But it definitely whitens your teeth, noticeably, after a few days!

As my first activated charcoal toothpaste, this product was a good first experience, but I have moved on.I did notice some initial whitening effects, which is great, also I personally liked the taste, but it doesn't really give you that fresh mouth feeling afterwords like minty toothpastes do.The tube is very small for the price. The shipping took too long for this to become a go to brand for toothpaste. These complaints are not reasons not to buy this product, but they are the reasons that this product will not be a the toothpaste that I will be using daily.If you are just trying out Charcoal toothpaste for the first time, like I was, I don't think you will be disappointed with this product.

YES! This toothpaste was the first charcoal toothpaste I tried. This is the beginning of my addiction. I first saw some ads on Instagram about charcoal toothpaste. It was new, weird....I had to try it! I got on Amazon, got this tube and gave it a try. I was so skeptical to try it. Nothing more sketchy than putting a black paste on your toothbrush. I was so pleasantly surprised! It isn't minty- rather just a nice, natural flavor. It totally eliminates bad breath and leaves your mouth feeling so clean without an overwhelming mint smell like most toothpastes. I am convinced other toothpastes use the mint flavor to just mask bad breath- this eliminates it. It also whitens more than I thought a toothpaste could. Its a gentle whitening that doesn't leave your mouth sore. I have had terribly sensitive teeth my whole life. I have been using super expensive Sensodyne as long as I can remember. Many things I have read say that charcoal toothpaste re-mineralizes teeth--- and I believe it. Since I have been using charcoal toothpaste, my teeth are the best they have been my whole life. Even my dentist was shocked at my last visit. TRY IT. Even though I make my own now and probably wont buy pre-made again, I do highly recommend this to anyone who is daring to have a healthier mouth.

I had been curious about the whole charcoal toothpaste trend and have been wanting to try this for a minute now but wasnt sure about using charcoal powder or paste. I eventually figured paste would be a good start to transition.It was fun brushing your teth with black toothpaste. It only gets black like the picture above when you first apply the toothbrush to your teeth. Once you start brushing it turns into a grey foamy consistency.My mouth feels way cleaner after brushing than any other toothpaste has left it in the past! I think that was my favorite part about it. It had a kinda off-minty taste that took some getting used to when you are used to the super minty flavors of regular toothpaste. I think i prefer it more now.As far as the whitening aspect goes. I think it left my teeth a little whiter but nothing too dramatic. I didnt think to take a before and after picture before I started using it.Overall, I like this toothpaste a lot and am still deciding if i should switch to it permenantly or give the powder a try first. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

After waiting 2 weeks to see results, I must say I am really happy about it. But, I don't know about making my teeth a lot whiter, because it's really not what it does. What it DOES do is make your teeth lighter because they are CLEANER. It "scrubs" all the stains away and removes buildup. You know how you love that really clean feeling after your visit to the dentist? That is how you feel after you brush your teeth. I mean, my teeth are shiny!I am not going to use it every day, I have decided to use it every other day because I think it does a great job and I don't want to "scrub" too much.The taste is a fresh mint and delightful. It is odd when you see your mouth full of black suds! LOL! But you get used to it. If you smoke, if you drink tea and/or coffee, if you drink red wine, this toothpaste is for you! If you aren't the greatest at brushing your teeth, this toothpaste is for you! If you really love to have a minty and clean mouth, this toothpaste is for you!

The taste takes some getting used to. It's like chewing on a rock mixed with mint. And the aftertaste can be nauseating if you're hungover. I, in fact, would not recommending using this toothpaste after drinking red wine. However, it does seem to contribute to fresher breath for longer than regular toothpastes. It's one of those: if you can live with the flavor, you should at least try it. After the first day, it took me a week to try again on that factor. It's not a bad flavor; it's just different.
