Tastes good andfreezes well.
I bought this and immediately froze it in shrink wrapped bags. I took the tops off but left the bottom wood contain on to keep shape. After three days I took one out of freezer and let it thaw (doesn't take too long). Then brought it to room temp. They say don't freeze camembert or if you do it's not creamy and only good to cook with. Nonsense it was beautifully fresh, soft, creamy and delicious. I'd buy again.

Love this cheese!
I cannot emphasize how delicious this cheese is! I was introduced to this exact brand of Camembert in France by a friend. I've been addicted to and introduced many friends to it ever since. My advice is to not smell it before tasting it. Seriously, plug your nose with one hand and put a bite of this Camembert in your mouth with your other if you tend to be off-put by unusual food smells. The product description is correct in stating that it is aromatic. That being said, no one I've recommended it to has had a problem with it when following that advice. If for some reason you have leftovers, the smell will definitely take over your fridge. So, hopefully it's either a winter or a cool fall day so you can store it outside on your porch, balcony, or windowsill. Alternatively, you can always decide to forgo any sense of self-control and finish it off right then and there! (It is addictive so I usually end up doing the latter of the two.) I have yet to find a good method of fridge storage, as even if placed in an airtight container I've found that the fridge still has an overlying subtle odor of the cheese (which does impart itself onto the other foods in the fridge). Overall, I love this cheese and you should, too :)Side note: This cheese was a Normandy Camembert (Northwest France). Should you ever make it to Southwest France (Pays Basque/Basque Country, Pays Bearnais/Bearnais Country, etc.) and you love cheese, you should definitely make it a point to try fromage du brebis (sheep's milk cheese, usually made from raw milk). It is my most favorite cheese. Good varieties can be found at the farmers' markets (with differing tastes according to, amongst other things, aging time). I digress, I know...thinking about the above Camembert led me to think of another great cheese...

Garbage cheese
Smelled like garbage and farts which made the whole house stink after a night in the refrigerator. It tasted like it smelled with a hint of macrony and I heated it in hopes it would taste better. This only made it taste like I was eating solid gas.

Yes, I Know Brie Cheese is Well Known and Delicious
I know that everyone is familiar with the distinctively mild Brie cheese. All of us love it to the extreme with grapes and water crackers. Still because I'm in a very cheesy mood, I thought I'd praise it anyway.I think that with a good wine selection and plate full of grapes, it's one the best appetizers. Festive meals like Christmas when it takes all day to make lasagna from scratch, it is perfect for the hunger pangs waiting for the really big meal.Other than that it's a great and healthy snack food for everyday.I know all you are quite familiar with this cheese, yet I'm still motivated to praise the mildness of flavor an the part I most enjoy the outer layer of the aged cheese which I absolutely relish.Keep enjoying it as I do.
