Yonex's best all-around string. Surprisingly durable.
Most people think this is Yonex's best string. Most people describe this as Yonex's version of Alu Power, and in some ways an improvement on Alu Power. I agree with those assessments. I'm a player and stringer, and this is a top-five string as a main for me. (It's also a good cross but there are better, cheaper crosses, such as Outlast 18.) As a full bed, you can get 6 to 10 hours of high school level #1 play out of this. Pair it with Outlast 18 or Head Hawk 18 as a cross and you may get even more than that, and you'll have terrific control. Pair it with a multi or syngut cross and you'll have superb power and feel until the cross shreds. Great feel, great playability duration, above-average tension maintenance.

Great string set, but didn't make "me" a better player!
Nice string, I normally restring my own rackets, but this time I though I'd splurge and have the tennis club restring it hoping it would improve the rackets/strings touch and responsiveness. The good part: I got black string and it looks great on my racket, it's maintaining tension very well (I've played with it a dozen or so times already and only changed about 1lb's so far...The bad part: I'm not a tennis pro yet :) Kidding! Nothing really bad to say about this string. Was a good purchuse.

Great Poly
This string works well as the main strings in my Poly/Multi hybrid stringing. Perhaps, it's worth mentioning that multi crosses fray and break long before the Yonex PTP shows any signs of wear.

Awesome String
I ordered the 16l version strung at 52 pounds of tension so I cannot vouch for any other sizes or tensions but from my experience it works better when it is warmer out since the strings are a bit more lose. Most likely because the tension I string them at. If we are just talking about performance I think they hold up as one of the best strings I have used up to now. I would recommend. Hope this helps.

Excellent string. #1 stringers pick in 2015 on stringtester
Excellent string. #1 stringers pick in 2015 on stringtester .net Have been using it for 12 months. Only downside is tension maintenance. I get about 10 - 12 hours before it starts going dead. You can still play with it, it will just lack power.

Enjoying this string
It seemed to give me the ability to add more topspin to my forehand. I've been really happy with the control I've gotten as well. Will use again.

I like this poly a lot and it's one of my favorites to use in a full bed. Great pocketing, but it has a softer deader feel that others may not like. It plays more cushy for a poly, despite it's higher stiffness rating. I like it in this grey color, but the widely popular yellow seems to play slightly different
