The Best Product I've Found for Curly Hair
I have a curly perm and this is the best stuff I've ever used to keep the curls defined and to tame frizz. Unfortunately, it is no longer available locally, so I was so happy that Amazon has it and the price is excellent. Just add a tiny amount in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then scrunch into your towel dried hair after shampooing. It doesn't add stiffness if you use it on damp hair and it gives your curly hair a nice shine and definition. I've used this for several years, tried other things, but always come back to this as it is the best for my hair. Also, this lasts for a long time. The last container I had just ran out after over a year of using on my shampooed hair two to three times a week.

Perfect base for making sprirally ringlets :-)
Love this stuff; I've tried other formulas said to do the same thing (some by L'Oreal, some not) and this one hands down is the best!Long (well past shoulders) curly (fully natural; no perms; no color) hair that I wash, style and diffuse on average twice a week (Mondays and Fridays unless I have plans that call for "fresh" tresses or the Thursday up-do in a clip just ain't working!!). L'Oreal Ever Curl Cream roots to ends (heavier on the back and ends), mousse (two to three handfuls heavier on the roots to crown) and hairspray all over...I use this as a "base" to my curls and I follow it up with a mousse. I've tried gels, and curl defining crèmes and for me and my hair (curly ends; fine roots that blow-dry out straight amazing!) this + mousse (I'm currently obsessed with Dove Style + Care Curl Defining Mousse; also available on Amazon) + hairspray is my go-to that never lets me down. It's a smidge pricey (when purchased as a single bottle) on Amazon but it's getting harder and harder to find it in the stores so I broke down and purchased a 12 pack of it; the total out the door price per bottle broke down to something equivalent to what Target or CVS used to carry it for so I'm happy...and should be stocked for a year or more!!PS...In case you're wondering; said routine is below; yes it's lengthy (hair wash to dry and styled = approx 45 minutes) however it's only being done 2 to 3 times per week...First...Wash; condition and squeeze excess water (roots to ends) out hair. DO NOT fluff, dry, flip or otherwise muss hair in anyway once conditioned! In my opinion curly hair behaves best the least you mess it up! If tangles and hair fall are an issue take a wet brush into the shower to work condition thru hair and comb out loose strands...rinse and condition again once tangle free. I also don't think the shampoo and conditioner matter as much as the styling products...just stick with anything that is marketed for dry or damaged hair.Second...Apply (liberally) L'Oreal Cream to wet hair (all of it) focusing product on what would be the "ponytail" of hair (basically the parts of your hair that you'd clear a ponytail with; the back and ends); wet brush product thru right side up and upside down. Remain upside down and towel squeeze ends (w/cream in it).Third...Come right side up apply 1 to 2 handfuls of mousse (depending on length) to damp to wet hair (all of it), focusing product on the opposite parts of hair curl cream was focused on (basically the roots, sides and crown ) flip head upside down and apply 1 to 2 handfuls of mousse (depending on length) and finger comb to distribute products thru (just once when upside down) front, back and sides. Once finished applying product towel squeeze (upside down) as much of the hair as possible to remove excess water. DO NOT fluff or muss curls with towel instead move thru sections squeezing stopping and starting at each sections (don't rough dry with a towel EVER)Fourth...IF YOU LIKE VOLUME and CRUNCH remain upside down and spray hairspray all over head focusing (when wet) on roots (for lift), sides (more lift :-D ) hairspray; and ends (to retain the spirals or ringlets)Fifth...Diffuse hair upside down on hottest setting till 90% dry. Flip head up hairspray, hairspray, hairspray (again for volume and retaining definition and diffuse upside down on cool until 95% - 98% dry. Remain upside down; scrunch & break up curls from the scalp/root; more spray (if desired); remove diffuser and upside down on medium and cool setting until completely dry). Right side up you can blow hair around without diffuser to give it a more tousled effect but once dry refrain from touching or fussing with it as long as you want it to look nice.In case you're wondering YES it is a lot of hairspray and product (I have long L O N G hair) and no it doesn't flake up - you have to use good hairspray. If you have a problem with flaking little hit your roots with a fine mist water bottle (or instead of wearing perfume on your skin put it in your hair) and that'll handle the visible ones. Any hairspray will flake up during movement in sleep or if you fuss with it but the steam from a shower will settle it.When I sleep I pull it all into a clip as high on my head as I can get/stand it and it usually lasts me (easily) three days but I often push it to four by rocking the ponytail on the third day and the pineapple top updo in a clip the 4th day. To shower I use a terry cloth lined shower cap and more often than not just the steam from the shower alone will reactive the products in your hair, reset your curls and keep them springy. When you go that long not touching, washing or brushing your hair you're bound to have a ton of hair fall (average person looses 100 - 150 hairs per day) so don't be alarmed when you're pulling clumps of it out the shower...I recommend a hair guard screen (...also available on Amazon!) as well. I typically avoid dry shampoos (unless my scalp smells from workouts and only then I use as little as possible).Good luck and I hope that helps!!!

and the gel/cream combo does a great job of keeping my hair tame with minimal frizz ...
I have very thick curly hair, and the gel/cream combo does a great job of keeping my hair tame with minimal frizz without leaving my hair stiff like a lot of other gel does. It even works on high humidity days so I love it!

L’Oreal EverCurl really helped a CURL out! 😝
I was a little hesitant to try this product ONLY because I've used 'cream' products before and they left my hair feeling greasy or just didn't work at all; but I LIVE BY the shampoo and conditioner in the L'Oreal Paris EverCurl line, so I thought I'd give it a go! And I am 110% satisfied! This product really works for me! My hair is a mixture between ringlet curls and wavy hair. I always had a hard time getting the back of my hair to actual curl, it usually is wavy and flat. Along with using the shampoo and conditioner, this product has really amplified my curls and brought my curls to life! I've also used the product with a different shampoo/conditioner regimen and still get satisfying results. The only con I have, is the product itself looks old. The white cream is a bit yellowed, but I don't think it is effecting the product as I am clearly seeing results. I've included pictures on the product itself and my hair. Please be aware I am no hair stylist, I just shampoo, condition, and put in this cream and go!

Hate coconut oil
So Loreal discontinued the original Evercurl which I loved and used for years. Instead the new formula is made with coconut oil. (Coconut, the new cure for cancer). The new Evercurl is terrible. It doesnt hold and weighs the hair down. Mid day, you end up with limp frizz. So disappointed.

Look like money without spending big $$$
This stuff is great! My hair started to fall out because of my mother's horrible balding genes. Although, I still hold out hope that it won't completely strike for another 3-4 years. Better lock down the Ms. My hair is over 4in long, wavy to curly, and i'm able to make one of these bottles last about 2-3 weeks. The gel starts out a bit shiny but when it dries out, all it takes is a running of the fingers through your hair and the shine is gone. However, the form remains. It doesn't have a strong hold with wind and long hair, although what hair product would. Get this stuff. Make it happen, today! Look better, feel better, add some confidence, be comfortable, form that dome with this stuff. And the ladies love the smell of it... Thats right. I'm a man.

I wanted to love this.
I wanted to love this... unfortunately I wasn't super impressed. I have fine curly hair and this is a fairly heavy product. I prefer a dry curl look and this makes my curls look wet and feel "crunchy". It smells great but I just don't like how my hair ends up looking/feeling.

Leaves hair stiff
I have fine curly hair and i really like all the EverCurl products except this one. It makes my hair stiff and hard to get even fingers through. It feels like I have a paste on my hair. I've used about 1/3 of the bottle and will throw the rest away as it is not worth the mess it leaves on my hair. I use the EverCurl shampoo and conditioner as well as the Hydracharge leave-in cream and they are great. My curls are soft and manageable and any frizz (I live in a humid area) is well under control.

Purchasing this again works well in summer.

Three Stars
Gives my curls good definition but doesn't moisturise enough. Not suitable for my dry and frizzy hair.
