this is not spawn, not for another 3+weeks. the grain is freshly inoculated and in a zip bag, too full to shake/mix.its been about 2 weeks and there is barley any growth.growth has stalled, grain too dry.

I ordered this lions mane and upon applying it to the sterilized substrate it was clear there was contamination. No reply from seller when messaged regarding the issue.

I used half of the jar to inoculate my grain bag , no issues , my bag is almost fully colonized . Ps thanks for not sending rotten grain in a sandwich bad like some other sellers .

The media could not be loaded. Comes in a plastic bag and looks like quinoa. No instructions in the package but there's a link to info online.No smell, no real mess to innoculate a bunch of maple logs in a "mini-Shroomhenge" arrangement, and it went way farther than I imagined it would; I have a little bit left over and am thinking about Shroomhenge II.Now we wait! Apparently, it can take a couple of years to know if it will "take" or not, but I'm willing to water it periodically to maximize the chances.A fun project!Edited to add: They're growing! We now have the wispy cobwebs of the mycelial stage. Next stop will be "fruiting" or mushroom formation!ETA: The clip is 7 months after innoculation, now that cool weather is here.
