Harrison's Fauna Flora 2 Oz. A Source of Live, Naturally Occurring Enzymes for Birds

This fauna flora is a very fine powder that I sprinkle on my cockatiel's Harrison's fine pellets. I do not know yet if it is making any difference as he is an old timer but is doing well for a 32-year old.

Birds didn't seem to notice this Fauna Flora was added to their pelleted diet. They didn't seem to mind the added powder a bit - just a pinch and it goes back into the freezer.

Must say the bird tries to avoid eating this, so I have to be sneaky about getting it into her food. She has chronic diarrhea, and this keeps her poops healthy. You do have to keep it in the freezer, and it only keeps for so many months, under a year. It's worth it if your parrot is suffering. It's an excellent quality supplement, the best probiotic I have found.

My little love bird has had digestive issues ever since I got her (she was a surrender). She has always had a very hard time going, so much so, she prolapsed her vent badly. I had her to two different avian vets for this problem but really no help. Over the course of a year I was slowly losing her. I added this product to the Harrison High Potency Mash (mixed with a little warm water just to moisten it a bit) and started feeding it to her. After 2 months, she is like the young bird that I adopted some years ago, playful & inquisitive with more energy. Her prolapsed vent continues to shrink and her feather quality has also improved. I recommend this product and will continue to use it.

My ringneck dove tends to have watery stool, more so than my female dove. I started using this for about two weeks and noticed the texture of his droppings started to improve. I hope in a few more weeks his droppings will improve even more. Definitely worth the money. I sprinkle it on their Harrison's Fine food.

This product is a must have if you have parakeets. I have 2 parakeets and when they got sick, this probiotic helped them to get better. It was recommended by our vet.

At the urging of my veterinarian I started adding Harrison's Fauna Flora to my 2 parrots daily feed in order to bring their gut bacteria to an acceptable level. I am happy to say that the product worked and my birds are both happy and healthy!

I mix it with mash and boiling hot distilled water, put it aside to cool, and the macaws like eating it when it's still slightly warm and just a bit runny. After adding it to the food, I noticed that the birds were looking healthier.
