As a dry iron, it works really well. Heats up quickly and gets super hot! Ironed out wrinkles from thick khakis that have been there for months that my last iron could not get out! Steam function works great, produces LOTS of steam and I like that you have total control of it. The self clean option is a nice way to clean out the holes.It had a tiny scratch on the plate and chip on the side. It’s a little heavier than I’d like.The retractable cord is a very convenient.*Update: I accidentally dropped it on the carpet while it was hot, it was on the ground for a few seconds but still managed to melt some carpet fibers onto itself. I purchased another one in hopes of replacing it, but the replacement came with scratches and a stain. It also had this strong burning smell when it heated up which my old one has never had even when it was brand new. Had to return the new one. I’d rather just deal with my old one with melted carpet on it (I managed to get it off with a cotton round and some acetone free nail polish remover). Quality control needed for new products.

Iron works well, heats up fast and steams fine. Cable doesn't retract completely every time. Takes a couple tugs more often than not but very acceptable performance at this price.

It looks great and irons very well. I love the retractable cord. There are 2 tnings I really don't like about.It's good looks include a gray plastic water resavoir which is very hard to see. I don't know how much water is in it until it runs out. Other problem: the temperature control dial is difficult to turn and hard to see and read. I leave my iron set to cotton, which I use more that other settings, and just unplug to turn it off. It is Also the iron is quite heavy which may be in part why it irons so well. I will keep it because it irons well.

I don't know if I received a faulty product, but neither the steam shot nor constant steam functions are working. I hear the baffle dropping when I press the steam shot button, so I know that works mechanically, but all that happens is a bunch of water pours out the steam holes. It seems to be producing steam constantly even when the steam level lever is set to Off. I am using distilled water and have it set to the highest Cotton heat level... I had a B+D 1200W iron that worked better with steaming, maybe this one was just a dud.

I love this iron. I love the cord wind up, the self clean. But I love most of all, that it shuts itself off if you forget to turn it off!

I've been using this iron for one year and it worked fairly well until it suddenly los rust and ruined my white skirt! No warning, during ironing a lot of rust came out and stuck to my skirt. That had never happened to me with any iron I've been using. I am so disappointed and I would like to return this item and get a refund. In any case I won't get my skirt back...

This is the best iron I have ever owned. The retractable cord is plenty long enough. I love my new iron. Every bit worth the money.

I bought this iron because I was visiting my daughter... who didn’t own one. Seriously what 27 year old doesn’t own an iron? Well, it was that excellent I’m ordering a second one to replace the one I have. It’s got a good weight, heats up rapidly, irons smoothly, cord retracts well... for less than $30, it’s a steal!
