Great Game - Get a Sequel Out!
This review is in 2012. I got the game on Amazon for an very inexpensive price and it sat at home for a while on the shelf. I finally got it loaded on a Vista computer (XP forced settings) and played the game. Having played other newer games, I wasn't expecting alot, but was very pleased with the game. I realize that it was setup to be limited as to how you finish each scenario with a fixed path, but it was still a great game to play. My only problem was that it was too short. Hopefully there will be a sequel. I was a bit disappointed with the ending, having gotten to like the character - but it was still very cool. If you can get this game for an inexpensive price it is definitely worth it. I really like the vehicle designs used(modified 251 with wheels instead of a half track, later versions of armor E100 or Maus, etc) and the weapons selection (MP50, scoped rifles, good old Thompson, etc). The scenario maps were excellent with alot of detail (zeppelin hangar for example). It wasn't too difficult to complete on normal settings, but still enjoyable, if you really try not to get hit at all. Couldn't save the game at various points, so if you died you had to start at a "save point" which might have been a few scenarios back. The chapters included New York, Washington DC, and London ... all with unique themes. Again a well done game even in 2012.

Not a bad game
I had seen the game footage online and thought it looked like a good story. I was right. It's based around if the Germans attacked the USA in WWII and a construction worker took up the fight. The story has holes that can be overlooked such as a resistance makes you their one hope for breaking into the white house and so on. Yeah right. But it's still pretty cool. Weapons - You can only have 2 weapons but it's all you'll need. There's plenty of ammo and grenades are pretty useful when you have em. Graphics - Not bad. Nothing special but done well enough to keep your interest. The opening sequence has you on top of a partially built building and planes are flying by. Health - There's no real health meter but you know if you've taken too much damage by the screen going grey and you get slower. You heal on your own and pretty quickly. Controls and camera work - Well done. Not a whole lot of assigning of new keys needed. The replay value comes from the fact that there's a grapple system. If you get close to an enemy, you can can grab him and either take him as a human shield or instant kill him. This ranges from throwing someone off a building, pushing them into a machine (cut up in huge gears), putting his head thru a tv and more. But, sometimes this doesn't work if you get TOO close. The grab icon vanishes and the enemy unloads a whole clip into you. It's definatly worth it.

Another PC game that won't run
The game takes a half hour to install and, then, it won't run. And I have a new PC. Save your money. Buy something else.

My advice: Ignore the negative reviews.
I too was skeptical at first... At first. However, after about 10 minutes or so of really dedicated gameplay, I realized I had found a hidden gem. This game had been sitting in my cabinet unplayed for literally years. I finally decided to go beyond that first 10 minutes of skepticism and give it another go. Very glad I did. Don't understand why some say this game won't run on Windows 7. It runs just fine on my Windows 7. Don't understand why some say the graphics are poor; this is remedied quite easily by adjusting screen resolution and other graphics settings. The weapons modeling is a bit different; however, though not bad per se. I would describe it as (strangely) thick and rich. Plenty of variety, and it just seems, well, "heavy" in a good way. My only real complaint is that the game was too short. I was ready to keep playing.

Its good, but not great
I really had high hopes for this game. The plot looked good and the graphics looked good to. But after buying the game at least the idea is good. The graphics for the pc version are nothing to get excited about, there are no tweaking options except high, medium and low. Clearly this is a console port and thd PC version looks as if it needs patch out of the box. Some animations are just buggy and weird looking and it does not play smoothly at times. All in all its just a average shooter.

Install this videogame on my PC. Does not work, because the specs on the backcover of the DVD case are misleading. In the readme text on the disc, the specs are way higher than described on the box. The minimum specs are really the required specs and then even higher! So, do not buy this PC videogame, if you do not have the required specs! Also, this PC videogame comes in an oversize DVD case!
