I have owned and worn this model for a couple of years now, and I think that is one of the finest watches available in this price range. If it was Swiss, the price would be triple what it is. It is assembled and finished in a special lab facility that Casio uses for only their top line watches. The watch and band are all titanium, and feel as light as a feather. The case is very thin as well, and the overall experience is that you can wear it all day and night, and barely notice it is on your wrist. It is both radio controlled, and Bluetooth capable, and the watch can be set with your smartphone if you download the Casio Watches app, and pair it with the watch. The design and dial are beautiful, and the lume is top quality, and is visible all night, if you “charge” it with a light source first. The styling is “formal” enough to wear with a suit, yet sporty enough to be worn with casual clothes. The titanium has a scratch resistant coating that works very well, but is not perfect, and unlike stainless steel, scratches cannot be easily buffed out. The bracelet links use the pin and collar method of fastening, so if you don’t have the tools and experience to size these types of bracelets, take the watch to a jeweler for sizing, and be sure to tell them it uses pins and collars, to prevent any surprises. The watch has a dual time display that can be changed with the instructions and use of the crown, or more easily by using the Casio phone app. The two time zones can be “swapped” by the press of a button, and this feature is nice for those that travel back and forth to two different time zones. Casio has come out with a couple of newer models since this one, but I think that the S4000 still remains a great choice.
