Floyd Rose Titanium String Lock Insert Blocks

There fit perfect in my Floyd 1000 on my EVH relic. I switched these at the same time I added a copper block, so I can't really say if they helped the tone, but I certainly like the improvement with these and the new copper block.

These should be the only blocks used with a floyd trem. The sound clarity and sheer string volume that results from these blocks is well worth the price. They don't slip. I put a set of these into a Floyd Special and they maintain grip on the strings AND improve the sound. Recommended.

I'm using these on my Fender Wolfgang Special. They measurably changed the tone. The difference was more sustain and a fuller more resonant note. You will not be disappointed. These inserts are a relatively inexpensive way to get a huge return on a minor modification.

Using these was very eye opening. They are precisely the right size and never become misshapen. While you’re still working on a Floyd, these do make the process a bit easier. Having to deal with misshapen string blocks for years, it is a bit relieving to never have to deal with that again.

I received a set of these blocks from StewMac, USA. After installation, my first string slipped out of the saddle, a few times... Upon inspection of the insert block for the first string, I noticed 3 linear gouges in the back of the block, where the string made contact with one face on the block. I did not expect that titanium would yield to pressure from a steel string. I was able to sand the gouges down, level with the face of the block. I didn't expect that I should be able to sand the gouges out, either. Know this: these are not high-grade titanium, notr, are they machined.

I have approximately 20 Floyd Rose-equipped guitars. I've had these "pinching" blocks crack, distort, or just not hold the string in place. A new guitar purchase made me want to try these, and I'm glad I did. The guitar sustained really well prior to install, but it nicely improved after. The install is fairly new, so I'm still checking them out. I'll update if things change.

Doesn’t warp or crack like original part. Sound of strings are improved. These are my 2nd set for another guitar I bought. The other set are still perfect. It is way easier to change strings also.
