My favorite SI BELT
-- Better than SEROLA--Will not slide up-- Very comfortable, thin and not bulky-- Make sure you measure before buyingI've tried many SI Belts, including the Serola. My regennex doctor gave me this brand SI belt in small. It was a little too snug and I bought the large on amazon. Large is too large. I wish I would have bought a medium but the large works just fine, just a little overlap with wrapping. I like the SI belt brand because it has tacky material on the inside that helps keep the product on your skin without sliding. I also like how thin this belt is. Most other belts are very thick and show under my clothes but this belt does not.

A lifesaver if your back goes out occasionally
I can't say enough about this product. If your back goes "out" occasionally, it is a must-have. The inside is slip-proof when placed directly against your skin under clothes. Wear it as low on the back as possible. If my back is feeling weak or "iffy" I wear it throughout the day for added support. It takes the strain off my back and abs and holds my hips in place. I've thrown my back out and been able to clean my house and chase after kids with this on. I also wore it during the late stages of two pregnancies. Much more durable than the pregnancy belts, you can really tighten it and it stays put. I have 2 of these just in case I ever lose one!

Wider would be better
A wider belt (top to bottom, not side to side) would support the SI joint better. This width makes sitting more comfortable than a wider belt would, but not so helpful for SI pain when standing/walking. This width might be fine in Sm or Med sizes, but not L or XL.

Small size may be large enough
I have a history of difficulty with the SI joint and want to start some exercise classes. To help protect myself against injury, I purchased the belt to wear during workouts and when walking. The belt keeps me steady and I find it very functional. My measurements fell at the low end of the large size. To be sure it would fit, I purchased the large size. I do not have a smaller size to compare the difference, but this belt gave me and 8 " overlap. I imagine that I could have gotten by with the smaller size.Another recommendation: Definitely wear it over undergarments that are large enough (no bikini or hipster style) to be totally under the belt.

not as good as I first thought
I like that it is a narrow belt. The silicone strips on the inside really keep it from slipping. Conversely, the silicone strips will imprint into your skin. After a couple of weeks I had abrasions from the edges which are a rough material. I sewed soft cotton onto it but then it slipped. Ended up returning the unopened spare I had purchased.Switched to the SI-LOC and like it better.

Great!
I am a 51 year old female. I have a lot of back issues including a herniated disc at Level 5-SI. I also have hyper-mobility in my SI joint. My physical therapist recommended that I get an SI belt. The Saunders SI belt is wonderful. I wish I would have ordered a medium instead of a large, but other than that it has been great. I wear it while at work and you cannot tell I'm wearing it under my clothes. It stays in place well and gives me just the right amout of compression I need to stabilize that joint.

Received this item and the velcro would not stick! ...
Received this item and the velcro would not stick! Needless to say I sent it back the same day, and got my $ back but thought they would of sent me another belt that actually works, but did not!

moves around
I purchased this belt as a back-up to another belt that I had. I loved this other belt, but I felt that it was giving me a rash when worn in warm conditions. It had a vinyl component that I may be allergic to and since I was heading down to the Bahamas, I felt that I needed another option. BUT..this belt rides up whenever I sit/stand, therefore rendering it useless for sacroiliac stabilization. As a result I feel that I can only give this belt a ** rating.
