Works great definitely worth it if you’re messing with a quad or dirtbike clutch. Makes life easier

If you're looking to buy this tool then you probably already know what it's for; a specialized tool for holding a motorcycle clutch hub when you have to remove the clutch ...for whatever reason.For me, these Tusk "locking pliers" worked fine when I rebuilt the clutch on my Suzuki DR650. Yeah, I could've used other makeshift means to keep the clutch hub from rotating but for $23, I pulled the trigger ...plus I'm a tool junkie. The Tusk clutch holding tool was up to the task but definitely built to a price point. The tool is made in China (surprise) and I doubt anyone will be impressed with the overall quality and finish of the tool.The only reason I picked the Tusk pliers was they weren't the cheapest ones available on Amazon ...and I figured if a retailer of motorcycle specialty tools was willing to have their name stamped on it, it couldn't be all that bad. Based on that reasoning, I'd definitely recommend these if, like me, you just can't pass up an opportunity to add another tool to the box.

I like it. It does however slip off the flywheel while using the the flywheel pins. Worked well enough.

This clutch tool worked as advertised on my 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 700. If you are going to be doing any work in your primary or secondary sheaves this is a tool you are going to need to do the properly and without damaging your clutch packs or other hardware that's in that area. I am very happy with this purchase because it worked and it was inexpensive which didn't drive me to making my own tool that would be a screw driver along side a 2x4.Highly recommend this tool for the Grizzly 700.

If you find yourself messing with scooter cvts a lot this is one of those right tool for the job kind of things that keeps wrenching with friends fun. Sure you could use a lot of other things to do this task but this will help save you from scratching up your parts or dinging up your teeth. As always if your a meat head you can still mess things up but I like this tool. A luxury well spent.
