I have long hair, nearly to my waist. Wrapping it up can be trying at times. This seems to do very well, though I did have to look up tutorials on YouTube specific to long hair. Most of the time, this hair fork holds my hair securely, but not too tightly, for hours. I have also worn this to my water aerobics classes. Classes are 60 minutes, and this holds securely through the whole class. And, being aluminum, it doesn't rust. Which is pretty nice. There's a pretty jewel at the end, because why not?Every once in a while, I lose my hair mojo and can't make it work. Could be the texture of my hair or user error.

This is the second time I bought a hair stick off this seller. I have very thick hair so any hairstick made of anything other than metal will eventually break. I recommend the two-pronged one for those who also have thick hair -- it holds everything in place. The first time I purchased I bought a shorter (4in?) two pronged hair stick in black, and it came with a single prong hairstick in green as a bonus; the second time I purchased another two-prong hairstick in silver and 6in (better for thick hair) because the black one disappeared into thin air. I got a blue single-prong as a bonus this time too. Which is very appreciated!! Great customer service and I will continue to buy hair sticks from this seller, especially as hair sticks seem to be like umbrellas, one of a pair of socks, and bobby pins -- only on loan to you from the universe and prone to disappearing.

For years I tried to secure my extremely thick, coarse, long and unruly hair with ordinary restraints, only to have my hair burst from its confines in the middle of my workday, leaving a trail of snapped elastics and broken barrettes in its wake. Finally, I took a leap of faith and purchased this hair fork as a last resort before chopping it off at chin length. It has been worth every penny, and then some. I twist my hair into a bun, slide the fork in, and everything miraculously stays put ALL DAY LONG. The curved shape lies comfortably against my head, and at the end of the day, my scalp doesn't hurt! Although it is quite pretty to look at, once it's in my hair, it's invisible. I love the fact that there are no moving parts to break, and it's made of solid metal; it will probably be supporting my coif for many years to come. I do intend to buy a couple more, just in case it gets lost, or more likely, stolen by a jealous rival.

These are not real attractive but are well made and work. Twist your hair up and place this next to the head going down or sideways. Holds well and does not hurt

Beautiful, excellent craftsmanship, and will last a lifetime. Holds my hair perfectly, is fairly lightweight and I can wear it all day without getting a headache. The vendor is delightful too! It arrived promptly, well packaged, and with a handwritten aloha from Hawaii and appreciation for my purchase. I consider this a high end hair accessory, understated enough for daily use but appropriately elegant for special occasions.

I love it! It’s even better than it looks in pix. The prongs do bend a bit, but nothing that should be an issue as long as it’s carefully handled (as hair forks and sticks should be anyway). Very comfy, lightweight, and easily holds my thick, tailbone length curly hair securely—not something any old hair fork can do.I bought it because I outgrew my other hair forks and needed something with at least 5” functional prong length, but it arrived with a smaller hair fork as a free gift. A nice touch, and will make a lovely gift for a friend whose hair is not as thick and unruly as mine.
