I have an older laptop and needed a replacement battery. This one works well. It doesn't give me as much time without an outlet as I had hoped but that's because I didn't order the more powerful battery. It works well otherwise.

This is my second time buying a replacement battery my laptop computer. The 1st time was through another company that sold it on Amazon. I would say that the battery lasted about 2-3 years before it was time to replace it. I still don't want to part ways with my computer because some of the programs I use either has changed or they are extinct.When my battery arrived (on time) I hurried to put it in my computer and it turned on without the warning to replace my battery. I'm able to keep my computer on (without it being plugged in for power).Now I've owned this computer for over 10 years and know that I will eventually have to...get a new one. As far as the time of use before I have to recharge it is about 2-2 1/2 hours (but it has always been that way since I brought it originally.)Overall the battery works good for this model laptop computer.

DEFECTIVE BATTERY
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CHARGE THIS BATTERY FOR TWO DAYS AND IT WOULD NOT CHARGE. IT IS DEFECTIVE. EITHER SEND ME ONE THAT WORKS OR GIVE ME A REFUND. THANKS... Update.. thank you for sending me a battery that works I have disposed of the one you sent me that was defective because I did not want to pay the $12 shipping return fee. I know you threatened to go to Amazon to attempt to get a refund for the defective battery, but why should I have to pay for a defective battery and then $12 for shipping. I'm glad the battery you sent me the second time around works but I won't be buying from you again.
