Amazing and inspiring book for the beginner and advanced.
I love how she explained everything about punch needle. The pictures were beautiful and the projects are inspiring. It makes one believe that their punch needle can be as beautiful. I love the colors she chose for all her projects. Another must for your craft library.

Excellent book
This book is my first introduction to the craft and I finished it in one sitting! It is easy to follow and has lots of great insight from a pro. If I had one critique, it would be to add a little more instruction on finishing pieces. Otherwise, I am loving Rose Pearlman as inspiration!

Guess what I can needle punch
I posted a review previously and I had to update it after reading this book with no experience and never punching a rug in my life. I have created 3 beautiful projects that even my family members are requesting me to make them one. The author is an excellent teacher and I have learn a lot thanks to her simple picture instructions. I am so happy with this book I can't put it down. You won't be disappointed.

Love it!
What an incredible book! Absolutely inspired by this. I read the entire this front to back in one day to make sure I don’t skip out on the reading when I have supplies and am excited to craft. So well put together and very informative in a way that makes sense for a visual learner.

Very basic, lots of kid projects
I felt like the book was some how too basic and not basic enough. She gave an overview of punch needle (which she calls rug hooking but isn’t what most people in 2023 call rug hooking, it’s a different craft and skill) but then doesn’t give a lot of basic info in the patterns. She talks about how important matching your yarn with your punch needle is but leaves it at that. The wall hanging with butcher’s twine looks cute but what size punch needle do I use? The fine one? A thicker one? Who knows? If I wanted to experiment and waste time, money and materials trying out various combinations, I wouldn’t have got the book. There are also a lot of kids projects which I found odd in a book aimed at adults. Many of the “adult” patterns were for tiny bags and other child sized items.I did like the alternative fibers chapter but it too felt unfinished.

Beautifully explained and illustrated!
I love this book so much and always tell friends about it that are wanting to learn about rug hooking. I taught a class based off the book and all students were happy with their projects!
