Fantastic Product!!!
What great value for money this product is!!! I recently bought an MX5 with the OEM radio/CD player that doesn’t have Bluetooth or DAB radio....this product does exactly what it says and it took me less than a minute to set up. Sound quality via Bluetooth is excellent and so is the hands free calling. I’d highly recommend this unit, it’s small, unobtrusive and great value for money. For best results make sure you set the FM frequency to one that is not close to a radio station frequency to avoid any interference. I haven’t tried playing music via the USB socket yet but based on the quality of Music, Podcasts and Radio via my phone & hands free calling, I’m sure the USB will be excellent quality too. Also very useful to be able to charge my phone when needed and the great thing about having two USB sockets is that I can also run my Sat Nav from it whilst the phone is charging. I’m seriously impressed with this little unit, price is excellent value for money and delivery was next day as advertised. To be honest, I didn’t even know these Bluetooth adapters existed (I stumbled across this by accident) so the fact that it saved me a small fortune by not having to replace the OEM fitted unit and is such good quality for such a small price has left me seriously impressed. I’d highly recommend this - you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic
Easy to install. I find the sound quality is good. The only negative is the mic for the phone isn’t great. You can hear the caller perfectly but you really have to raise your voice to be heard. But that could be due to the position of the adapter. Overall a fantastic piece of kit. No more having to stop mid journey to answer a call in an emergency, no more cd’s in my little car. And what a bargain price!!!!!

Literally only just received this.
First thing is that it’s way smaller than I thought it would be which is a good point. It took me longer to stop my car radio from scanning and allow me to set a blank channel than it did to set this fella up ! After 3 minutes messing around I chose 87.5 fm and it works brilliantly. Stuck a micro sd card in and hey presto I had endless tunes of my choice. Push the little green phone button and I was making hands free phone calls without any apparent speaker ! What is this Bluetooth wizardry ! Volume was terrific on playback through the cars speakers for both music, radio and speech, the first caller thought it sounded way better than when they call me on the landline. With yet another change in the law regarding hands free use and what constitutes ‘hands free’ arriving shortly you would have to be mad not to buy one of these for the money. If you have an older car, mine is a classic car without Bluetooth but with an FM radio, there is no excuse if you get caught and receive points and a fine for using a phone because this item is not exactly expensive or difficult to set up. For the money I’m genuinely very happy with it.

Not bad, a bit quiet
Having gone from a car with Android Auto and DAB radio, to an old loaner with just a CD player and FM, I badly needed something like this to save me from radio hell. Easy to install (not so if you have a recessed cigarette lighter port- beware), I put mine in the boot 12v socket as it wouldn't fit the front cigarette lighter. Works fine in the boot, no issue with signal. You have to pair it before you can choose a frequency, and then you need to ensure it's volume is maxed. You'll need to turn up the car volume higher than normal, but it's perfectly listenable to once you've sorted it. Connected first time on the phone's bluetooth, can't complain. Got mine set to 108.0FM, seems clear of any clashes, and the sound quality is pretty good. All in all, happy that this will tide me over. Just need to wait for windscreen holder for the phone now EDIT- gone from 4 to 3 stars as you have to reconnect your phone to the device every time you get in the car. Bit of a drag tbh, but I can live with it.

Brilliant! Well worth the money!
I recently changed to an older car which didn’t have Bluetooth media available. After trying several different devices to play music through my car I decided to give this a go before paying £200+ to have a system upgrade. So glad I tried this.. it’s so easy to set up with easy to follow instructions. Only need to connect once and it connects itself every time you get in the car after initial set up (which only took about 2min) There’s a very slight background noise when quieter parts of a song play but it’s not really noticeable. I’ve had no interference at all since using it and music playback is good quality. I have Bluetooth phone facility in the car already so I can’t comment on the device for this. If you’re looking for something to play your own music in the car I highly recommend giving this a try. I’m glad I did!

Very good!
I bought this as my partner didnt want a new stereo but wanted bluetooth capabilities in the car. The car we have has no aux input so bluetooth was the only option. No bluetooth add-ons exist for the car so we thought we would try this as a temporary solution till we could come up with some a bit better. Turns out this worked far better than we anticipated, we have been using it now for almost a year and its still working fine, the sound quality is pretty good. I have two minor complaints though: - sometimes it makes a small high pitched noise when nothing is playing, its not noticeable unless volume is quite high but can be a pain. - With our car whenever we turn off the engine the bluetooth adapter keeps playing on your phone rather than turning off straight away(I use bluetooth headphones a lot and when i turn these off they disconnect straight away, this doesn't) then it takes quite a while to reconnect. We used another car for a week with this adapter and it kept connection when car was turned off and didnt need to reconnect so think it depends on car but this is a really minor issue.
