Use them for dinghy sailing and they stay in place and are very comfortable. Don't know how long they will last since they are being used wet, but I hope they last one season.

As long as you realize what these are good for you won't be disappointed at all. I bought them to wear while playing softball. I wanted something thin enough and comfortable enough to not impede upon my ability to run the bases. But I wanted something with some padding for sliding and when dropping to my knees to field ground balls while playing second base. They are perfect for that. They aren't thick enough to be used for volleyball, a sport I also play. That isn't what they are for. But for softball they are absolutely perfect, comfortable and with just the right amount of padding.

I use these knee pads for snowboarding and put it over all of my base layers and under my snow layers. I've had issues with my knee before from hard falls on ice during boarding so I needed a product that was comfortable and provided some cushion. These definitely reduces the pain and any further potential injury when I fall in the snow, but it doesn't eliminate the pain entirely when falling on the knees. It's prevented some nastier injuries and is very comfortable to wear (especially compared with other knee pads I've tried on). I ordered two sets of knee pads to compare the comfortability and these ones were by far the most comfortable. It is also very comfortable when wearing it kneeling; think kneeling on a thick yoga mat. I would recommend these knee pads for intermediate athletes or to anyone that's in their 20s-30s with stronger knees, but if you are looking for a product that completely eliminates all pain when falling, I would recommend a thicker/less comfortable set of knee pads. It's worth noting that I have fallen multiple times with these on and haven't had a bruise once. Overall, I would purchase these again because they do the job, hold up well, doesn't hurt or slip when wearing, and prevents much nastier injuries.

They are for grandson for xmas. Bought for him playing football ,riding bike. They are easy to put on and not bulky.

The first couple times I wore them they were uncomfortable, but after breaking them in I didn't notice I was wearing them anymore. They're nice and slim while still providing plenty of comfort. The elastic bands get a little painful with hairy legs, but aside from that they're great. NOTE: Don't hand wash them in hot water! They survived two cycles in the washer, but when I hand washed them in the sink, the foam fell apart inside and now they're useless. Didn't think I was rough with them. Ordering a new pair since they were great otherwise.

Got them for saddle hunting to wear over my thermals, but, under my outer layer. Gives good light knee support for longer walks in. More importantly, it's gives just enough padding on the knees so I can rest them against the tree during longer sits. I recommend them for mixed martial arts (striking, jiu-jitsu, & wrestling) as well. Hand wash and hang dry.

These were recommended by a wrestling coach but I have needed to replace them multiple times in one season (went through 3 orders before giving up and switching brands). The padding quickly becomes unattached and collects in areas, leaving parts of the knee completely exposed. Comfortable for the first couple of uses then become absolute trash.
