Nice kettlebell, at first
I have had problems with this kettlebell almost from day one. Pros - Shaped like a regular kettlebell. Weights feel sturdy with no rattling. Adjustable. Cons - This appeared to be a return (labels over other labels, and the box with layered with different tapes and very tattered (in fairness, its very heavy). It came with absolutely zero other company materials (again, feel of return). The biggest downfall and reason I am returning - the weights are nearly impossible to go in and out. I had trouble with this immediately and as I started using the different weight levels it got worse. I added some silicone I had for a treadmill and it helped, but it still kept on binding up. It also made it necessary to wipe the kettlebell down with a cleaner spray and wash my hands, making every weight change a chore. Today (happens to be final day of return), it did something new. The outer ring went in, but would not go all the way down. This made it impossible to close the door that enclosed the weights, rendering it unuseable. I was issued a refund. I will say that if you get one that works properly, it would make a great addition to any gym at a reasonable price. Sadly, mine did not and I bought a different product

Great forest imprison!
The package came all beat up but it was wrapped in bags so no damages to the kettlebell. The design is clever, It feels solid and you can quickly adjust the weight. I will update my review as I’m putting this Karlene kettlebell to work. Great product, I recommend it.

Excellent choicde for an adjustable bell
I started with these to save space. Very nice design. I've had mine for about 2 years. The design keeps the center of mass almost the same over the range of weights. The faceplate is a little tricky to get on and off but I've had no problems with it being secured. The handle itself is slightly more bulky than my KettleBell King individually sized bells. The space within the handle horns is a little more compact than the King bells. If you have big hands take this into account. I prefer individual bells now, not these kind, though I still use these Rocketloks from time to time. If you want an adjustable bell, these are as good as they get in my opinion.

Best Product of its Type
I purchased this for my wife who has been using kettlebells for 2 years. She says it feels like a normal kettlebell at each of the weights available. The burr from die-casting has been finished enough that it causes no discomfort when using. The weights are quickly and easily changed. The locking mechanism is easy to use and has not failed after 30 uses. I swung the kettlebell outside with the locking mechanism removed just to see what it would take to fling the weights out of the kettlebell, and found it almost impossible to do in normal use.

Can't register for the warranty, even though it "comes" with one
Ok for home use but don't let anyone who is rough on equipment use it. Also the plastic "lock" gets stuck easily and the weights don't always slide out without shaking/tapping it. And I tried to register for the warranty and the page goes to an error page, not cool!

Very clever design - update on center cap
6/16/16 You can purchase the center cap. They are available for $7.50 plus $3.00 shipping. I'm going to order one cap as a reserve in case bell takes a bad fall onto the cap or sliding key should fail. Contact [email protected] and request. --------- I use this in my office and take it with me when I travel by car. I also have the 14-20 lb set so between the two of them I have 7 kettlebell weight stops built into just two bells. The center of gravity is unchanged as you add or remove inner cylinders. No rattling - fit and finish are excellent. Feel is like a typical bell with a nice clear coat finish to a powder coated exterior. Mine was sold as new, but came with a scratch/ding in the front above the center cap. Could have been from shipping since it was only marginally protected with thin plastic bubble wrap and the box was beat up pretty badly. Bell was not in original packaging so maybe it was "gently used"??? I paid less than the retail price so I'm satisfied. My one concern, and it isn't a deal breaker...is the plastic center cap used to close the center space where the cylinders are housed. Specially the yellow tab which slides back and forth to release the center cap. It appears sturdy but a few bangs and a drop or two and who knows. And, its integral to the operation of the center cap opening/closing cycle. Perhaps you can purchase the center cap separately which I'm going to inquire about. That would be an inexpensive (???) bit of insurance. I'll post once I hear from Rocketlok.

Great for traveling and vanlife
Great to have essentially 4 kettlebells that can go from desert camp to Airbnb easy peasy. Tempted to get a second for renegade rows and quicker transition between weights but don't need a total of 72lbs extra weight with these gas prices! There's practically no loss in usability between this and a regular kettlebell. Just face the plastic side out during kettlebell snatch.
