all toro mowers do not use the same ignition switch.
Toro will use different engines on various models of their equipment. These different engine manufacturers will use different ignition system circuitry which will require different ignition switch circuitry. If you are not working with correct part numbers then you will likely end up with the wrong switch!

fits right the first time but still not up to the quality of the original. vibration tend to loosen the terminal plate causing the ground to fail.
