Trader Joe'sCreamy Unsalted Peanut Butter From Unblanched Peanuts

I was looking for a peanut butter that was just 100% peanuts, no salt or sugar, because I use them in Kong toys and to give pills to my dog. This was perfect in that regard. But a few things to note about this peanut butter: I think I can find cheaper salt- and sugar-free peanut butter elsewhere, so I'll keep looking around for other brands. The consistency of this is also very runny even if you mix it up really well. It's kind of like a pasta sauce and not really a butter when it comes to thickness. I keep it in the fridge otherwise it would be way too wet. If I can't find a better price elsewhere then I'll definitely buy this again.

Flavor not great, and consistency is runnier than I like, but low sodium and no added sugar is a benefit.

Spreading salt free peanut butter on salt free rice cakes is not my idea of a dream lunch but this peanut butter was a great addition to a low iodine diet! It gave me something familiar and tasty and I enjoyed it very much!

My dog loves peanut butter in a Kong but nearly all nut butters are made for humans and have a ton of salt or added sugars. I know that some pet peanut butter exists but costs twice as much. This is the only brand I found that has only a single ingredient.... peanuts. It is pretty oily but the dog doesn't mind at all. He's thrilled to get this as a weekly treat and I don't have to worry about high sodium and sugar for him. Yay.

Taste was okay; not great. Consistency poor - call it a sauce, not a butter. Really wanted to like this, but it doesn't replace actual peanut butter for me. Disappointing.
