This is a fantastic and versatile product, smells good and has ingredients knows to benefit textured hair and really helps tame frizz and baby hairs as well as adding shine. I use it to tame my braids after a few weeks growth- it keeps them looking fresh and tidy and prolongs the style for extra weeks. Very glad to have it in my bathroom cabinet!

So this stuff smells great. And it apparently doesn't leave residue, however I used this like once every few months if that for like a year... Again if that. Didn't even get through half a tub. I had my locs for 6 years, natural locs, only washed them once a week-2weeks with organic shampoo, nothing else. Never had any issues.Anyway.... After I started using this I started to see residue in my locs. So I stopped using this. And then eventually I just brushed my locs out and yup, there was a fair bit of this residue in my hair. I know it was this because you could smell it 😒 I only used the smallest amounts aswell and mainly just around the roots, sometimes around bits were there were excess frizz or hair poking out. Anyway, my locs are gone now and I've now got nearly 2 full tubs of this stuff left :)Maybe alright for other hair styles but not for dreadlocks . That's what I'm getting at.Ps. I always knew don't put stuff in locs... I just messed up. So it's my mistake. So I won't mark this product down much. But it does say no residue and it's called dredz...

I have bought several loc gels on here and had to detox my locs from build up. This product is great, I used it after my loc detox and there were no white flakes and no heavy feeling in my locs. The hold is phenomenal. I love the fact that it is unscented with a hint of tea tree. The price is a bit high for the ingredients in it but for the fact it does not flake like the other brands is understandable.

I would buy this again and again. The texture is perfect with a firm hold.
