If the dough ball is the size of a golf ball, then approx thickness is about 2mm. Hope this helps.

Q: Can this be used to make roti/ chapati/ Indian flat bread

They might turn out a little thick, but yes, I make wraps, press them four times, with each press rotating the wrap so I get an even flatter result. Hope this helps.

No. This item is only to actually make the tortilla, not to cook it.

Q: can you get the book as a paper copy rather than as an e-book?

Not sure but you could always print the ebook out
