Cheri's - Prickly Pear Syrup - 35 Oz - 1 Bottle

This is the best prickly pear syrup ever. Only a couple of ingredients. I use it all the time for margaritas.

The last few bottles I've ordered have been the rich clear fuscia color and distinctive flavor I expect from a prickly pear mix. It was like this when I first started buying it, but then for about a year, the mix was more reddish, less flavorful, and somewhat grainy - leaving a grainy coat on the bottle - and barely colored the margaritas a thin red, rather than the bright purple I'm used to. It took more mix to get a noticeable flavor, and it still wasn't quite as good. I still had some of the original, and did some side-by-side comparisons and it was quite obvious. I submitted a review at the time with photos showing the difference. I am very happy to see a return to the quality I've come to expect from Cheri's Prickly Pear Mix

I buy this often as I can't get back out to Arizona as often as I'd like to buy small batches from local farms. It's a solid prickly pear syrup. Great for margaritas and lemonade. By the nature of the syrup their is usually a little variation in each bottle in terms of sweet to tartness ratio. Just taste a little and mix to your liking.

Use this for prickly pear margaritas and it's got a great flavor. I do find some inconsistencies with the sweetness level. Purchased a previous bottle that wasn't as sweet so I had to use more of it. Then got this one and it's very concentrated/sweet so used less. Not sure what that's all about, but overall a good product.

Excellent in margaritas and makes a fantastic prickly pear “mock-a-rita”!
