Boating and Sailing Knot Cards - Waterproof Guide to 20 Nautical Knots

I ordered these cards to help teach my daughter about knots. Very durable and she’s excited about the pictures lol. My only wish is that they would be made just slightly larger.

Smaller than expected, and its kind of a pain to sort through the cards, because they're so tightly connected to one another. However, the instructions are very good, and I appreciate that the cards give examples of times to use the various knots.

These little guys are great! About the size of business cards, they give you the types of knots and which applications to use or not use with them. Waterproof, very sturdy/thick, comes with a carabiner. good to keep on your keychain, flybridge, etc. You could use the knots for jewelry making as another application. Love these!

This is great. Keep it on the boat when I get new people and they want to learn a few knots they could help with docking and marooning for a day.

These are very useful when out boating, and great little book for know reference.

I returned these due to their small size. No bigger than a credit card and text and illustrations are hard to see, read or follow.

Amazes me how products make money. This is a nice concept, but goodness, these are the size of a business card or debit/credit card. I'm 55 and usually my eyes bother me and there are many things I cannot read. Surprisingly I can read these without extra light or glasses...might be my familiarity...possibly my memory is not leaving and aiding my vision. There are only 5 cards with 2 knots to a side so total of 4 knots to a card equaling 20 knots. They are fastened by a circular loop brad and you place the caribeaner provided in the circular loop brad, but the caribeaner is not necessary...they will stay together without the beaner. These really could have been twice the size and more effective as well as easy to store. If I spend more time on the computer with large font, it will take my eyes 10 minutes to adjust focus on the tiny font on these cards. Love these, need these, picking up new sailboat this week and it's been decades, however the size is quite a disappointment. A descent sized cleat and metal hitch bracket would have been helpful given the content.

Very handy but also very tight. It’s next to impossible to flip through them. I thinned it out and kept the ones I’d need for the boat and it worked much better.

should have read fine print was expecting maybe 3x5 in actual size not much bigger that a credit card
