99 K1500 Suburban OBS 5.7 Vortec
Fit perfect on my 5.7 vortec. Will fit almost and truck 5.7 TBI or Vortec as it comes with the know sensor block off for some fitments. Only thing that I absolutely hate are the bolts and bolts Rubber Grommets. Be careful not to over tighten!!!! The rubber grommet makes it very easy to do (this was my first time doing a Timing cover btw). Also in the future for me I will be purchasing the metal style Timing Cover with stronger Timing Cover bolts. Great value and no leaks so far so probably will be a little while before I do that upgrade. Seems to be a little bit stronger than my original Timing covers but maybe because my motor has 320k miles. This is a great purchase but maybe upgrade to a metal timing cover if you prefer.

Good quality from Dorman
Quality timing cover. Easy install if you have oil pan down. Does the job!

Dorman timing cover
Ok, so after removing harmonic the old crank seal just fell out of the cover. I used this cover and put a layer of jb weld around the metal part of the crank seal and cover. It will not fall out of this one. Sealed well, no leaks. Overall the cover is just fine.

As good as any GM cover
This timing cover is as good as the GM part and Better than most aftermarket covers out there. These instal leak free and work well. Save some coin and buy this and put your mind at ease that you have the best part.

Sheared a bolt.
Great product, but sheared off one of the included bolts. Used a very nominal amount of torque. Be careful.

Terrible product
Had installed in February of this year (2025) It's already leaking.... terrible product should have a lifetime warranty.

Good stock replacement.
Great stock replacement cover. Good quality plastic. Comes with preinstalled rubber seal, hardware, rtv, and crank sensor block off plate for early engines without crank sensor. Definitely a good value for the money.

After 1 hr running I had a leak. Found the seal loose and leaking in the housing. Housing bore and seal seemed to measure ok but ordered a new seal and used proper sealant instead of nothing like it was
