Lifegard Aquatics All-in-One Triple Pond Filter

Incredible results! My fountain/pond was very green and murky with algae issues. It has been a battle for the last couple of years due to getting direct sunlight. I thought I would have to drain the pond and start over with fresh water but instead was told by a professional that I needed to leave the current water, get more live plants, keep all dead plant matter cleaned out and stop feeding my fish as they were eating the algae off of the pond walls. And I needed a new pump/filter/fountain. After MUCH research, I found the Lifegard Aquatics All-In-One Pond System. I bought the triple which was probably overkill for the size of my pond but was frustrated with cleaning my old filter with no results. Also, I believe I won't have to clean the filter as often since I have three layers of filters instead of only one.It took a week before I noticed a significant difference in the water, but each day after that I saw more and more positive results. At first, I cleaned the filter every day, but now once a week. The pond is now very clean and clear and I can see the bottom. The pond is 80" x 60" and 28 inches deep. At this point, I recommend the Lifegard Aquatics All-in-One 1 million percent.

The pump works very well and the UV light kills the Algie. You get multiple fountain heads to use and it took me a few tries to get the water sound I was looking for. I did have to attach a bungee cord so the unit would stay together when pulling it out for cleaning

The bad: the pole is to short for my 30 inch deep pond so i had to go buy pvc pipe and thread in an extension. The pole adjustment for left and right to make it straight, is to loose. My fish like to bang into it and it gets crooked. The filter lets out the muck when you go to pull it out of the water.The good: it heps keep my pond clean, though i use it as my 3rd filter. I don't think it would cut it as a primary filter. The water feature is nice.

I ordered this product, the uv filter wasn't functional. I had received a replacement. The uv filter still didn't work on that one as well as the casing being broken as pictured below. Furthermore I've contacted the manufacturer without any response online as well as over the phone. Just takes phone number and email and never returned messages or had technical support respond as instructed. I would avoid this product and manufacturer at all cost. On the plus side amazon customer service was great and helped me return the product where as I felt that I was stuck with it when speaking to the manufacturer who was no help at all

The filter is every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I purchased the triple version with the UV light and it replaced two 13W UV filters and one high capacity mechanical filter. I have a 900 gallon pond and the filter is plenty large enough to keep it clean. It doesn't have to be cleaned as often either. I used to have to clean the old filters twice a week. This one has been going strong for 4 weeks. The fountain head is really nice but if your pond is deeper than 33 inches it may not reach the top of the water. Mine is 32 inches deep and the head is just above the water level.Assembly was easy and it looked like disassembly for cleaning will be easy also. The filter does need to be taken apart for appropriately cleaning the foam filter media but that's not as big of a deal since it doesn't have to be done often.Overall the filter works really well and I strongly recommend it to anyone.

I had owned a different Lifeguard model and used it for 5 years before it gave up the ghost. This design sounded promising and had a little more capacity so I bought it in 2016. Unfortunately it has not lived up to my expectation and been a headache all along. The biggest issue I've experienced is that the top fountain piece that swivels presses onto the lower part of the swivel and it just won't stay in place. I think the longest it lasted was a month before it just popped off and I had to go fishing in the bottom of my pond to find it. The manufacturer sent a replacement that they said might be better but it made no difference. The three tier unit also is quite light and so every once in a while it would just decide to start floating for no apparent reason. Lastly the motor gave out recently and so it only lasted 3 years. After being so happy with an older version of their product this has been really disappointing.

I have a 5x9 pond that was green and opaque with a too-small filter (and no UV light). This filter (with the UV light) had it clear in a week. I clean the filter every week or three and it keeps the water absolutely pristine, and there are about 30 goldfish that eat a LOT. I don't normally write reviews, but this guy does a great job. The sponge filters pick up a lot of gunk, and the UV light really keeps the algae from getting a hold. Might be a little large for my pond, but it sure is nice having crystal clear water. Just keep it cleaned out, which is pretty easy to do (15 minutes or so to pull and hose everything out). I've only had it for 5 months, but if it broke now I'd buy another one.

The filters are cleaning the water. I was not happy that it comes without a bulb. Why would you not sell it as a whole device? Is the bulb useless?
