Sleek, Versatile Casio A700WEM – Perfect for Small Wrists!
I grabbed the Casio A700WEM a while back to add a digital watch to my collection, and it’s been such a great pick. It’s a true unisex watch, not just for ladies, and it fits my small-to-medium wrist like a dream. Super comfy and lightweight, it looks sharp with a suit for work but just as good with a t-shirt for hanging out. The resin case has a few scratches from everyday wear, but it’s held up great, and the mesh bracelet still looks brand new—no hair-snagging, which is a big win!The digital display is nice and clear, with big numbers that make checking the time in daylight a breeze. At night, just hit the backlight button, and you’re good to go. It’s a Casio, so you know it’s reliable and a steal for the price. I’ve used the alarm and stopwatch a bunch, and the timer’s handy for little things like workouts or cooking. The quartz movement keeps it ticking accurately, no complaints there. It’s not my daily go-to, but every time I wear it, I’m stoked with how versatile and functional it is. If you want a stylish, do-it-all watch that won’t break the bank, this one’s awesome!

Fab unisex time-piece!
I'm unsure as to why this is classed as a 'women's' watch, as in the description of the watch shows it as 'unisex.' Definitely doesn't show itself as just a women's watch, but one that guys can wear too. So I bought this watch after seeing a review of it online. Got it a few days later (quick delivery by Amazon as usual), and was very impressed by the watch. It came packaged well in a Casio box, with the usual booklets (warranty, how-to guide etc.) The watch itself is beautiful, and a very classy time-piece with that retro vibe about it that many know of Casio. The light is great at night, and easily shows the time without any issue. The buttons are easy to press and don't need excessive force when changing the time or starting the stop-watch. I did think at first that the mesh strap was going to be an issue, as I had read that a few people mentioned how it felt big on their wrist. But the strap seems virtually fully adjustable and mine is about a 6 inch wrist give or take and I found the perfect spot to move the latch to, so the watch felt secure around my wrist, but not too tight that it was cutting off circulation. Can hardly feel it on the wrist, as it fits nicely on it and isnt at all bulky like some watches. It's a really good-looking watch that is pleasing to the eye and a great take on the retro pieces back in the 80's. I wouldn't recommend wearing this watch in the pool or in water, as I don't believe the water rating is suitable for such activities, but is water-resistant (washing hands etc). So if you're looking for a digital watch from a brand that has a good selection out there, this could definitely be the one for you!

Fits the wrist perfectly.
I bought this simple Casio watch to replace an old Casio that's buttons were starting to fail. The best feature is its beautiful stainless steel woven strap that can be easily adjustable to fit, unlike leather or plastic or the chunky steel straps that are always too tight or too slack.Functionally the watch dates back to the early Casio digital watches, it has no "modern technology" but is a simple timekeeper easy to set.

Cutie
A really cute, smart, light, elegant watch.Small and understated.Only niggle...the bracelet feels a bit stiff/thick where it overlaps on my wrist. Having said this, it seems to be less of an issue after wearing it for a while. It's a very cute watch indeed. Beautiful really, so classy and subtle.Get it. Great value for money. They grey/silver never gets tiresome. Perfect for work and evening drinks, with a little retro twist and far away from the ubiquitous apple watches (yawn). Buy it and love it.

Stylish bracelet with time display!
That's precisely what I desired: a stylish, lightweight bracelet that displays the time.

Great Value, Simple and Super Thin
Firstly, this is not specifically a women's watch-it's for anyone who wants a simple, super thin, good value digital watch that resurrects the great 1970s era of digital watches. Not everyone wants a mighty great lump on their wrists catching on cuffs and knocking against things!I still have a functioning Citizen Quartz Crystron LC that's 42 years old, and, in my opinion, the best digital watch made, though there are many devotees of the Seikos. It's a bit battered now and the display is a bit misty, so I wanted a replacement ready. This Casio is terrific, virtually identical in size and just as thin.Positives: simple, not over endowed with loads of functions one will never use; great value; super thin; simple to set up, very readable displays (time and date visible on same screen); the stainless steel strap is easy to adjustNegatives: hasn't the quality "feel" of the superb Citizen, being slightly lighter and it's not all stainless steel-the case is "resin"-not sure how durable it'll be; I guess there isn't a big market out there now for a stainless steel version, and it would command a price premium-though I'd be happy to pay it; the three buttons poke out a little more than those on the Citizen (which has two tucked away on the diagonals, with the set-up one submerged needing a pencil point/needle to operate-very thoughtful design) but this is a small gripe; the calendar function is not year-specific and doesn't' allow for leap years, whereas the incredible Citizen had some 30+ years built into the memory!; the removable back has 4 screws whereas the Citizen has a proper watch screw backIn summary: I guess we can't go back to those 1970s quality digitals-the market has moved on-and it's perhaps unfair to compare with the Citizen, which was quite expensive back then; but this is a great, practical offering that presumably meets a real need that's still out there. BTW-the instruction book is faultless, as is the packaging (a nice sturdy box)--how on earth do Casio do this for £30 odd?!
