Fan-freaking-tastic!!!!
Fan-freaking-tastic!!!!This are amazing. We really wanted to do a tile backsplash but just didn’t have it in the budget this year. With some careful planning of the layouts and strategic cutting these worked great. We would do it again and are considering it in the bathrooms. They look great, and seem durable. The only thing I wish they had was a starter tab for peeling off the backing. I spent more time trying to get it peeled than I should have.Overall way to use and cut.

Pretty easy to work with; also a way to make it renter friendly
We used this for an upgrade to our laundry room. The pros: it looks pretty good from a short distance, with ridges to give it a little dimension; it is easy to cut with a sharp exacto knife; there's a removable protective film on the front, so you can mark it to measure on either side; and it's a lot cheaper and less messy than actual tile and grout. The cons: up close you can tell it's not real tile; and it's hard to cut along the grout at the exact same width every time, so that when bricks are pieced together, you can sometimes tell the places where it's been pieced. Also note that I did not move the washer/dryer to install this, so it was more difficult than it would have been for a backsplash over kitchen cabinets or on an unobstructed wall. General advice about the project: the bottom of our cabinets are not perfectly level (see 3rd photo) so it took me a couple of tries to figure out the best way to get everything straight -- I ended up using a level to draw a line level with the grout under the first row of bricks at the lowest point, then I lined all the other pieces up such that all the grout is level with that line. (I couldn't draw a level line at the top.) Also, we are not renters, but because I mess up some of my DIY projects, I first put up leftover peel and stick wallpaper, stapled it at the corners, and then stuck all the tile to that. So if we decide to take it down, it shouldn't damage the wall. If this process ends up not working after a year, I will revise this review (although not the rating because it probably won't be the tile's fault). ***April 5, 2023: Since the original review from March 29, 2022, nothing has changed. No peeling, no problems. I remain happy with the appearance and the product.

Easy to use without power tools
I purchased this tile to use as a kitchen backsplash until I get around to installing new countertops. I put them up in mid July 2022; photos attached are from January 2023, but nothing's changed. I did not have a backsplash previously, so these were placed directly on the drywall. They definitely don't feel real, but guests have thought I learned how to tile when seeing it up, not realizing it's a peel and stick vinyl.I like to bake a lot and use the range quite often. It's also often getting splashed with water from the sink. Over a year later, I have not had any issues with peeling or yellowing. Where there's been yellowing is from caulking when I last worked on the countertops. The tile itself still looks the same as when I installed. The paint originally was pretty flat, so the adhesive is pretty stuck on there. I expect due to this when I do finally remove them, I will damage the wall. I put some of the left over tiles on the wall inside a bathroom vanity, and since that is a semigloss, I had an easier time pulling the tile off to adjust than I did in the kitchen. These are very easy to cut; I mostly used scissors, but a utility knife works fine as well. I have a vinyl floor tile cutter, and decided to try that to get as perfect of a straight line possible, but this tile is not sturdy enough to be cut using it and tended to just bend. The blade would then rough up the front of the tile.Overall, it has been good. There is only one spot above the stove top that doesn't sit quite flush on the wall, but it has been that way since install as I didn't get the tiles lined up exactly right and is my fault. I had worried that area would be an issue later on, but it hasn't changed either. The tiles are also still bright white, and are easy to clean up if something splatters on it.

These lift at the seams in a short time
I never write a review right away. I want to see how the product lasts. I purchased these tiles in August and it's now December. First I'm a pretty good at DIY. If you look close at my kitchen even my counters are hand painted to look like marble. I learned how to cut and install peel and stick flooring years ago and I used that same knowledge to install these. You have one chance to get these right if you pull them off the wall they don't stick again. The "grout" lines go only in one direction so you can't cut one than turn it upside down to use the rest so you need to be creative on your cuts. If I didn't know what I was doing I would have had a ton of scrap left over. I had 2 tiles and scrap when I was done. You must really line them up as they grab the wall fast not allowing you to adjust the fit and you want to get them right up next to each other as tight as you can. I purchased 3 packages and loved the look so much I purchased 2 more to install over the cabinets as I like the way they have shine to them and make my battery operated candles look at night. Now here's where the problem lies. The seams on the majority of them are curling. Lifting away from the wall and that's a lot of money to have invested for vinyl tiles. I now have to find a glue that I can use to try and get them to lay flat again. They seem to be firmly stuck in the middle which will make peeling them back without damage difficult if I don't use heat to try and remove them. I would not trust them around water. There is no way water would not get behind the seams. My house temperature and moisture is at acceptable levels and kept comfortable year round. I'm really disgusted as the repair will take longer than the installation. All my friends loved it and wanted me to help them install them in their home but I will not be recommending this product. I wish now I just took the time to install real tile.
