Great piece for the price.
No issues with the install. Unsolicited advice - think of where you'll mount the thermal probe. It has to get warm to kick the fans on but if you place it near something that is always warm, well... Not sure if it's working? Just squeeze between your fingers for a moment. There is a small connection box that was made to be mounted into a slot. We're usually working with cabinets and just let it hang but you'll have to be prepped to do something with it.

My brother in law said it was the "12 volt power supply" everything else checked out fine. Now I have to open a service ticket
Didn't work straight out of the box (admittedly I haven't had time yet to contact the seller to resolve this issue and I bought it a few weeks ago). My brother in law said it was the "12 volt power supply" everything else checked out fine. Now I have to open a service ticket. Also, the design having the mounting plates connected doesn't seem like the best set up because you are pulling in cooler air right next to warm air exhaust. We'll likely cut the plate (hassle) after I work out my faulty power supply.

Nice kit. Fans are quiet
Nice kit. Fans are quiet. Thermocouple works great. I didn't use metal mounting frame as I didn't want to cut rectangular opening in flimsy 1/4 particle board cabinet back with jig saw. I used a 4 1/2" hole saw and bolted fans directly to cabinet back. Only complaint is that Instructions are minimal requiring you to watch videos for answers. Ex. Should plastic sleeve be removed from temp sensor? Answer in video is no.

"FAN"tastic Fan
I should have bought this kit years ago. Took me about 15 minutes to install ( that includes cutting the hole ).Extremely Quiet.Highly Recommend

Keeps home theater a/v cabinet cool.
Using this to cool an in wall a/v cabinet in a home theater (audio receiver and Xbox one). Works great, and the auto on and off function is awesome. Fans are pretty quiet, no one seems to notice when they come on. Never have overheating problems and all the devices are hidden!

Keeps electronics cool, quietly
Have several of these fans in different cabinets. Keeps amps, tuners, game consoles inside cool. Very quiet and easy to assemble. 1 unit had defective thermostat cable, emailed them through Amazon and had a new cable in a few days. Excellent service.

Pain to put together
I got this as gift when I got a new tv cabinet. Takes too long to put together and it is flimsy. Some holes did not match. But not loud.
