They work and do their job, but not on light weight trousers, they slip down not enough Velcro. So not for my summertime cycling.Would I buy again sorry no.

Perfect for what I need them for, I use them for my neoprene swimming boots as the zipper tends to open in the water, the straps prevent that from happening and keep the swim boots on my feet.I've used them countless times in different types of cold water in all seasons, they are still like brand new. I bought these to keep the bottom of my trousers from getting too muddy when playing golf.. they keep the hem from flapping and getting muddy and they are easy to use and don't need constant washing or cleaning like gaiters do..

I feel that these bands are rather expensive for what they are. However theysubstitute for tucking trouser legs into socks and are far better than metal bands.13" provides for a thin ankle - advice would be to measure up before buying.They are naturally a snug fit and don't breathe in warm weather so can become rather clammy to wear.PS After two years they have lost elasticity but have worked well.

I went to Amazon in search of a pair of old fashioned bicycle clips. It never occurred to me that a few decades had passed and now we could buy such things as ankle garters! They are perfect - and a lot easier to put on and take off than those fiddly old clips.
