Good enough
I have several prime lenses and smaller zooms. This lens is useful because of its wide range of focal lengths making it easier to get the shot you want with a single lens. It is very useful as a walkaround lens when just out on a walk looking around for something to shoot.I have taken several hundred photos with this lens as I write. I find its color saturation to be quite good; it is sharp enough when stopped down a couple stops and works best between about 30 & 200mm but I have gotten some excellent shots at the wide end and the long end. It is not the fastest lens around but you have to expect to give up something to get the wide zoom range and a reasonable price and thee are trade offs.I have noticed there is more Chromatic Aberration, also known as “color fringing” with this lens than with my other lenses. I have found out this is easily corrected in either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. It only took a few minutes to find a Youtube video showing me how to do this.I have also shot a couple short videos with this lens and it worked quite well. I have not really tried out the macro aspects of this lens.It seems solidly built and manufactured.I think this is a lens that will work well for all but the most perfectionist among us who probably won't be satisfied. But I could recommend it to a friend and am glad I made the purchase and have found it very useful!

Five stars. Like 5 REAL stars.
The Sigma? Fantastic. For me, at this stage of my shooting skills and wallet thickness, I am getting something wildly beyond what I had even hoped for. My next big purchase most likely will be a step up in the way of a Canon body but I know this Sigma will hold its own with itThis company? I will do business with this company in the future. I highly recommend them. Everyone knows you pay for quality – you don’t buy a Sigma at Wal-Mart. But Digital Gojo? Really good prices and when you buy a bundle it is a bundle of quality stuff. Not crap you say, “Uh, right.” And then toss it in some unused storage case with all the other tossed in crap coming with a purchase. It is GOOD stuff. Stuff you will use. It all supports the primary purchase in a quality way.And all the stories floating around about the owner, Walter, being up to his ass in the Jolie/Pitt divorce are bulls***. He was never in the same location as her and has the receipts to prove it

Super convenient to have a wide zoom range in one lens.
I'm no expert, but I like the lens. I had the two Canon zoom lenses that together cover the same range and it was totally impractical for travel photography. I'd end up not taking the lens I needed, or having to change lenses in an awkward situation. The 18-250 Super Zoom range solves that problem. I got the kit with just the UV filter and the lens hood. I wasn't all that impressed with the lens hood as I still had problems with lens flare.I have not had any issues with the images from this lens and I can't tell the difference between them and the Canon lenses. Here's a photo I took with the lens.I had the same experience as others with the lens zooming by itself when I held the camera downward and didn't hold the lens. I use the lock when walking around. It's not a big deal to me.

Great all-purpose lens for travel
I am a beginner photographer and wanted a versatile lens for a trip I was taking. I did pay for next day delivery and received it the next day. The reviews you find online for the lens pretty much sum up its pros and cons. I am very glad I made this affordable purchase. Again worked great for me starting out in photography. Deducted a star because really didn’t need any of the additional items. The sigma lens comes with a lens hood!

Great all-in-one lens
great bundle package, it comes with everything you will need. The lens works great on my Canon T6. Like other reviews the autofocus is a bit clunky, loud and slow(reason for 4 stars) but I am not a professional photographer and this lens is not made for that so it works perfect for me. Now i don't have to carry two different lens and switch out in random situations while on long hikes and overnight backpacking trips. The macro features work perfect and I have taken some amazing photo's already.

Very nice package for the price
So far, so good. Just received the package today. Fast shipping. I have only taken one quick picture this evening. The Vivitar camera bag is a nice touch. Well made bag. Just big enough for my aging Rebel 300D, the 18-250 lens, lens hood, my Sigma flash, batteries, CF reader and cable. With the battery grip on my 300D, the fit in the bag is a little snug...but I think my 300D is a little bigger than current Canon models also. One of these days...maybe a T6s body will come my way.All in all a good buy from my POV. A nice little touch was a little note in the package from the company p[resident with his email address in case of any issues.

Works well with Canon Rebel SL1
I bought this lens to use on a Canon EOS Rebel SL1. It's larger than I imagined it would be and a little heavier, but it is so worth it! I used it on vacation last week, and was able to take zoomed photos off the back of a motorcycle moving at 50mph, and the photos were clear and focused. The OS feature, which reduces camera shake, worked wonderfully, and all the other features integrated well with my camera. I'm very pleased with the lens and feel it is worth the cost and carrying a larger sized lens.

Great bundle
I have not had extensive use of this piece of glass yet, but I have taken a couple of indoor photos at F3.5 and to my surprise it was very good at ISO 800 to 1600. The true reason for this review is to comment how good of a deal this package is. I didn't think much of the bag but surprisingly it is super handy bag. I actually use this bag instead of my larger Canon bag now. All the included accessories is just icing on the cake.
