Drop-In Replacement For BMW G310GS Headlight
This was a relatively easy modification. I did it as a series of small upgrades and improvements when doing the initial 600 mile service on my BMW G310GS. It's possible to replace the headlamp from the backside, below the instrument panel. Unplug the connector in the sealed rubber boot and push the bail wire clip aside to remove the old halogen headlamp. This LED headlamp is a drop-in replacement and is subjectively twice as bright and less yellowish. BMW uses all LED lighting on the 2021 and later G310GS so later models may not need this upgrade, but it's still a good replacement headlamp.I removed the two screws on the side of the headlight assembly and removed the headlight assembly from the front of the beak. No plastic body panels need to be removed. It doesn't seem possible to remove the headlamp assembly from the front, but with a combination of finesse and selective ultraviolence, it can be popped out and replaced. Removing the headlight assembly makes it a bit easier to replace the headlamp, but more importantly, the new LED headlamp doesn't require any shock mount, so the three rubber mounting bushings on the headlight mounting assembly can be removed and the mount can be reinstalled using stainless washers to hard mount it to prevent the annoying (and probably dangerous) headlamp flickering. I found it to be very distracting at night. The flickering was perceived as motion which constantly distracted me, so I was paying too much attention to the flickering and not seeing road signs, deer, pedestrians, etc. The flickering also annoyed oncoming drivers who were constantly flicking their high beams at me.

Great upgrade for my Suzuki C109RT
Extremely happy with this on my Suzuki Boulevard C109RT. The unit fit easily in my headlamp assembly. Some reviews stated that they had to do some filing. Not the case with the C109 head light. Drops right in. I had to use an Allen wrench on the back of the right side of the basket to adjust the beam. My high beam was in the trees. Once adjusted both the low beam and high beam is a huge improvement. My bike now has a light that works great. My low beam is better than my old high beams were. Now the high beams are like off road spot lights. I’ve ridden two nights with this and I have not had any cars flash me because the beams were bothering them. This is my first LED that I’ve tried so I can’t compare. But I did do quite a bit of research when I picked this. It is 2019 technology and designed for motorcycles. Worth the $40! Replaced Xenon halogen bulbs. Difference night and day better.Negative:Low beam diode turns off when high beam is switch on. Leaves a dark area between bike and where high beam shines.

Dramatic improvement over my halogen.
Installed on 1980 Yamaha XS1100s. As others have stated...this didn't just drop in immediately. The alignment tabs are correct...but the base was just a little large to fit in the recess. About 2 - 3 minutes with a file did the trick. By comparison, the old Sylvania bulb this replaced fit perfectly and had just a smidgen of wiggle room. That said...(and I admit, when I had to resort to the the filing project, I had a sinking feeling about the $40 bucks I had just spent)...when I finished installing and fired it up...WOW! Hands down, the best light I've ever seen. I'm buying a pair of these for my car. It puts out a white light that make the road very visible and road signs pop. Years ago I had a Million Candlepower off-road lamp in my bike that was very good. This is better. One other caveat, you'll want to make 100% sure your light is focused correctly. If it's a hair too high or low, you'll think you got a bad bulb. Get these aimed correctly and you'll be a happy (and safer) camper! Also, my bike is 40 years old and I had no problem with electric compatibility. Company does include an option to request a free resistor if you experience flicker, etc.

Been in a while, bright on high beams
They are bright on high beams but low beams the angle isn't right. They seem to point straight down. Tried rotating them but that didn't help. If I adjust the beam the high beams are in the trees while the low beams are in the desired location. If I set the high beams up the low beam hits the road about 20' Infront of the bike.

Very good upgrade to standard H4s
Use this on my Suzuki TU250X and really like the brightness of the bulb. During daylight I use the high beam to make sure I get seen and in the night time I switch back to normal to not blind other drivers. Before this bulb I used a cheaper Bub from another manufacturer here on Amazon but wasn't happy with the power and the pattern. This is perfect for my needs and I would happily buy another one.Update after over 1 year.Still super happy with the light bulb. I use my bike a lot for commuting and the light does a fantastic job letting me see everything ahead of me. Would purchase again!

Perfect and Bright!
This light is exactly what I needed! I'm definitely more visible on the road, I can actually see at night, and it looks good. I bought another one near this price and it started smoking! I thought I had fixed that headlight bulb, but then it burnt out while on the road at night. Unlike that one, this has had no problems and gets the job done. I highly recommend it. For reference, I have a 2020 MT-07.

Very bright
Love the brightness of these bulbs. Purchased them for my truck and the wife's vehicle as well. My only issue is that the box did not come sealed in any way making me wonder if this was used, a return, etc.. Contacted Hikari Technology and did not receive any help regarding my concern.

Graet design!
I tried a few different LED bulbs to work in a motorcycle reflective headlight and none of them were efficient. This one has an end cap unlike most and it really lights up the road. I used it on a vintage Suzuki and Honda with the lower volt charging systems. This bulb was 10 times better than any of the others I tried. Now I can take the old bikes out at night and see where I’m going.

What a difference- WOW just WOW..!
Updated the daytime running lights and the Main headlight to 6000k LED.. what a difference in visibility! Took less than 5min. Plug and play directly with the OEM socket on my 2019 MT07 Yamaha. High/Low beam and passing flasher work perfectly.

Great if all you need is low beam
The bulbs put out plenty of light on low beam but when used on high beam the illumination was 40' in the air despite the bulb being properly aimed while on low beam. Bbs were installed in FJR 1300

Dismal High Beam
The low beam is great. However! The high beam is a joke. It’s actually worse than the low beam and is extremely drained out. Almost as if it’s trying to spread more light than it’s able to give.
