I treated myself to this new ironing board cover and I wish I had bought it sooner! I bought the wide 18" x 49" size in the silicone finish. It is high-quality, well padded, and sturdy. The elastic around the edges stretches for a perfect fit. (Compared to my old cover that only had only a string in the casing.) It was easy to put on and was a perfect fit, even around the extra shelf at the end of my board. The 4 straps were easy to install underneath. The pad fits so well, that I don't even think the straps are needed, but they give extra security for aggressive ironing! It makes my whole sewing room look better too. I can't wait to press my next quilt on this!

I have a large Rowenta ironing board I bought from B,B & B twenty years ago- board portion measures 18x49. This pad fits great. It is snug, so my hubby helped me pull and stretch to get it on. The 'pad' is attached to the silicon(gray) cover. A mesh ironing cloth is included- newer style to those that have been ironing for a while. I don't believe I am going to need the elastic clips that were included, due to the snug fit. Have not ironed on it yet- am confident it will work fine. If not- I'll amend this post. Quality of pad is great.

My wife ordered this product to replace one she has had for years. She was very pleased with the cover. She said it fit perfectly and was very nice. She especially liked the velcro straps allowing her to get a tight fit.

Pad could be denser. I'm ordering another from them to double up. Good quality and fits well. Good underneath straps but could add 1 more I'm happy.

My old board cover degraded with years (that's the indented foam in the last photo). I started using a towel on top of it to iron clothes because the metal mesh pattern would get imprinted on whatever it was I was ironing. Finally, I couldn't take the ugliness of the towel anymore and spent 30 minutes looking for a suitable cover replacement. I saw many different covers before I settled on this one. What I didn't like about the other ones was that they often didn't seem to fit well, looking at other customers' photos. This board cover fits perfectly. I was skeptical about the 4 straps, but they're fine - easy to install and adjust, and the final product looks pretty good. The cover comes with a pad - for years, I've been using a white piece of fabric to iron delicate materials and silk-screened designs. This pad works nicely, better than my make-shift one. I used it to iron the board cover itself, and you can see the result. So, I don't know how well it will hold, but right now it seems like a perfect cover, and I wish I had gotten it years ago. UPDATE: About to buy it again. I just noticed the board indentations in the fabric I was ironing, so it's time to replace it. I might get the triangle design this time.

Perfect fit. Clips were not needed. They may come in handy later if the cover looses elasticity! Love the built in padding; much better than the cover that came with the board!!

I purchased the 15” x 54” cover. My ironing board is the one I received at my bridal shower in 1977. This is the 2nd replacement cover I’ve put on it. I’ve purchased others in the past but returned them either because I didn’t like the padding & cover or because the fit was terrible. The one I just got rid of was in very poor condition. I just couldn’t find one I liked for a reasonable price. This cover is excellent. It fits securely & the cloth quality is great. It makes ironing less of a chore. I don’t iron often anymore. I usually use a fabric steamer. But when I need to iron curtains, tablecloths, or items that need more smoothing than a steamer; I don’t want to fiddle around with my ironing board cover. I haven’t used the mesh fabric protector yet. But, I know I will in the future. I ruined a lightweight jacket a year ago. Even though I had my iron setting low, it scorched the jacket. I have 2 of those jackets & will definitely use the protective mesh when I have to iron the 2nd one. I really couldn’t be more pleased with this cover. I know it seems silly to rave about an ironing board cover. But it can make a huge difference in how the items your ironing look when you finish.
