Accessory Kit, 17 Piece Compressor Inflation Kit, with Blow Gun, Air Chucks, & Inflation Needles (Campbell Hausfeld MP284701AV)

I added this kit to my purchase of a Makita MAC100Q air compressor. This kit includes all of the most commonly needed things to get up and running with an air compressor -- especially if you haven't had one before. For example, you use the 1/4" plug (male) with a threaded female end to connect an air hose to the Makita compressor's quick coupler. Then put a quick coupler (female-female) to the other end of the air hose. Now you can add another 1/4" plug with a threaded male end onto the tire chuck (it has a female threaded end) and you've got one quick connect tool ready to go. The kit includes a total of 4 of the 1/4" plugs for adding more quick connect capable tools such as the included air gun of this kit. So, if you're getting an air compressor for the first time, this is a must have kit. (Note: These parts seem to be of good quality metal and properly threaded, but you might want to use teflon tape on all of the threaded connections to prevent air leaks.)

Works pretty well. Used male and female QDC on hose, and two male QDCs for the blower and tire inflator, leaving three spare male QDCs for any other accessories you have (one of which with female NPT threads), assuming you don't need one for your compressor. Air pressure gage is cheap, not sure how accurate it is, but seems consistent at least. Fittings leaked air even after tightening 1/2 and even 3/4-turn after hand tight. Teflon tape resolved that though. QDCs are difficult to attach with high pressure, so be sure to adjust the regulator before connecting them. Tire inflator is a bit awkward, and near impossible to get on my motorcycle's rear tire valve. That may be just an incompatibility with my bike, but something to consider. I haven't used the blower or ball inflator attachments, so I don't know how well they work, but I can't imagine them not working with how simple they are.

Works wonders with my little air compressor. Makes it so much easier to fill up tires by using the long connection. It was a pain having to try to fit the smaller connection my compressor came with in between wheel spokes to fill up my kids' bike tires. Plus, with the quick connections, I'm able to switch from airing up tires to airing up air mattresses or basketballs in a flash. However, I would recommend some thread tape be handy as air was leaking out of the adapter at the threads when I put this on my compressor. Thread tape fixed that problem quick.

I bought these considering my grandfather used Campbell Hausfeld years ago and he told me they were the best. I guess times have changed and quality has gone downhill a bit. They work fine but they HAVE to have Teflon applied to each joint. If not you will hear hissing and lose pressure. They don't have a "quality" feel as well but so far they haven't let me down. Price is right and if your an occasional user like myself these should do just fine, but buy Teflon!

This Campbell Hausfeld accessory kit is a must-have for anyone with an air compressor. It comes with everything you need, from inflating tires and sports balls to cleaning out air tools. The blow gun is powerful and the air chucks are easy to use. The kit is well-made and comes in a handy storage case. I'm really happy with this purchase!

I purchased this Air Tool kit for the the blower and the tire chuck. The rest of the fittings are nice and I did find some uses for them. I attached one of the 1/4 inch male plug to my framing nailer after the old fitting got a bit scraped up and this new one worked like a champ, no leaks. None of the fittings leak like some of the other reviews have mentioned which worried me before I purchased. No one likes a leaky air hose. I have not used the tire gauge so I can't comment on its accuracy. Overall the the kit is nice but I do feel like one of the "accessories" is quite random. I feel that a tire gauge in this kit is completely unnecessary and I'm sure added to its cost.

These are good attachment. The price is good. One thing i did find was. That you have put the Teflon tape that is provided on all the attachment, otherwise they leak. They should provide more tape as the one that is provided is not enough. Other than that everything is working as its suppose. to

the threads on the hose inlet side of the valve looks like it was dropped or something hit the thread edge making it hard to thread in but we got there but otherwise the air flow should be ok for my present needs.

Comes with everything that you need to get started with your air compressor , could have came with a small roll of Teflon thread tape . But oh well
