DAYDAYGO Women's Elastic Flat Sandals

Really happy with these women's flat sandals. They are super smart and comfortable. I have quite wide feet and when I unpacked them I thought they would be too narrow but the elasticated straps mean this is not a problem at all. They look really nice. Great value for money.

Update: June 18, 2019 - I have been wearing these sandals on and off for a few weeks and they are completely ruined. I only wore them in the house and out to get the mail. The bands stretched so much that I literally walked right out of the sandals. They were actually a hazard because they tended to cause me to trip or fall so I threw them out. I don't need a broken leg or worse. The straps just completely stretched out and allowed my feet to slide all over. Very disappointing because they LOOK nice and are kind of cute and simple. I cannot recommend these at all. They could be dangerous and don't hold up even to around the house casual wear.Original Review:I bought both blue and black sandals in my usual size 8. I noted when I tried them on that they seemed a big long. I could have worn a half size smaller. The elastic straps are great but the ankle is a little lose on me and the straps are not adjustable. They don't slip down though. The foot strap is NOT stretchy. It anchors the foot in the sandal and doesn't allow for the shoe to be too floppy or sloppy. Wide feet may have an issue with this but there is plenty of room for the widest part of my foot with no constricting.The soles are flat, no arch, but flexible. They are very, very thin but do have rubber and a tiny heel to keep from being too slippery. These are fine for times when I am mostly sitting but I wouldn't be able to walk long distances in them. There just isn't enough support and the thin soles would make that painful on my feet. I am using them as a casual slip on for relaxing by the pool, the lake, or in the yard. I am going with 3 stars. A slightly thicker, more cushioned foot bed would make a big difference in comfort. I also am concerned that the straps will stretch and the sandals will become too wide. Time will tell about that.
