I won’t lie, I drop my phone a lot. ALOT. 3-5 a day a lot. Yes I have a case, and for reasons I can’t figure out, have yet to shatter the screen. I was certain my phone was done for, as it wouldn’t work without being on a charger 24/7 and shut off whenever it felt like it. Before shelling out hundreds and breaking the bank, I decided to try a new battery first. $20 vs. $800 seemed like the smart choice and if I lost the $20 I would go ahead and take that small loss. Got the package in the mail, and watched the video on YouTube and was immediately overwhelmed with the thought of having to do this so luckily, my boyfriend decided he would try to replace it. Thank god! My anxiety was in full affect thinking id have these tiny screws scattered about and me searching everywhere for them should they have fallen. I stood behind him like a back seat driver biting my fingernails and anxiously waiting for those tiny screws to fall. So thankful my anxiety doesn’t phase him. He opened my phone and there were two of the original screws just rolling around in my phone! Now I saw why my battery was at less than 50% health and why it would shut off randomly. Nothing was held down in place! He changed it in 10 minutes. Held my breath to see if his magic has worked and albeit, a sigh of release! My phone works again! I don’t have to lug around a portable charger with a 6 foot cord hanging out of my pocket anymore (although I did for an entire day after out of habit)! Thank you. You guys saved me a lot of money and my peace of mind.

I was losing battery life on my iPhone 6s, so I purchased this kit. I didn't need the included tools, as I had some from an earlier screen replacement, but it's a nice addition if you don't already have them. The included instructions made the process easy. One suggestion is to take a blank piece of paper and draw an outline of your phone and put the tiny screws in the same place on the diagram as where you took them out of the phone. They are different sizes and it is very important to get them back in the same place where you removed them. I can't stress that enough. The most tricky part of the process was removing the old battery, as the stretchy adhesive strip broke, and I had to pry it off. If you can get hold of it, and pull it out in one go, then it's not a difficult process, but it's more difficult if the adhesive breaks. If you are confused, look up a tutorial on YouTube. All in all, I'm happy with the new battery life. It gave new life to my old phone. If you're reasonably handy with making your own repairs, and you follow the instructions, this is something that most people should be able to do.

The product is working great. Getting my phone open was HARD! Have been using it for about 2 months and no issues.

Updated JUN 22,2020. 4 months so far and still operates like new...I was hesitant to do this myself, never opened up an iPhone and didn't want to ruin it, also didn't know if the battery would really work well. As it turns out, it was quite easy - just followed the included instructions and looked at a couple different YouTube videos and was done in about 30 minutes. No issues, other than I lost one of the screws... not really worried about that, because the phone was trash with the old battery and now it has new life. Works perfectly, lasts at least as long as when new, and I'd definitely recommend this kit. It comes with all the tools you will need, and then some. Just be VERY careful with the screws - one of mine flew away when I was trying to install one in the metal battery cable cover... it just popped up and off the table, never to be seen again... think the cat ate it :-O

I’m so glad I bought this. I was considering buying a whole new phone but now my iPhone 6s is running like it did right out of the box. The battery life may even be a bit better than the original.Installation was a bit tricky. It’s important to go slowly and pay attention to what you are doing. I would recommend YouTube videos over the included instructions. There are several good ones out there. Be especially careful when first opening the phone and be aware that once you do this it will be a lot less water proof. You can purchase a replacement seal but I did not. Also, use caution when removing the old battery. If you bend it, it can become hot to the touch. I would follow the instructions where it says to fully discharge the battery before removal.Overall, I’m thrilled with the product and I’m glad I don’t have to buy a new phone!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I ordered this to replace the original battery in my son's iPhone 6S. I installed the battery and it worked perfect..... for about an HOUR. Battery was VERY hot inside the phone. Not sure if that had anything to do with the phone no longer being able to connect to our Wi-Fi but, we never had that problem before the original battery stopped working. Attempted to charge this replacement battery and was faced with the same issue we started with.. Black screen, would not turn on, nothing coming up on the screen. Waste of money...

I've had this battery in for two weeks now, and it appears to perform better than the OEM. However, I do not think it is delivering the advertised 2200 mAh, but more than the 1745 mAh the OEM battery delivered.Like other battery kits, this kit includes a lot of tools. Mine did not include a magnetic mat for holding screws, but this isn't my first rodeo, so I'm good. One tool that isn't included - you definitely want to get a super thin putty knife. Apple used a pretty strong adhesive strip to glue the battery down, and as you start to pull up on the battery, you risk folding it. LiO batteries that fold short out, and then explode. This can potentially destroy your phone. I was fortunate that the battery was already half way out when mine folded on me, so the worst I did was smoke up my workshop.

Initially was very impressed with the capacity, but the battery quickly degraded and had the same or less capacity than the degraded factory iPhone 6s battery I replaced after 9 months. If you only need to get a few more months out of your phone this might be for you. Otherwise I’d keep looking. Easy to install with the provided tools.
