This helmet comes with a screwed on black brim that can be removed or used for the optional face shields that come in clear, smoke and mirror. There are 3 shells to provide the best fit possible. Each helmet is packaged in its own helmet bag with owner's manual included.

My neck didn't hurt because this is so lightweight.
If you take the time to actually measure your head and then compare to the size charts you can successfully order a helmet online. I was a timid about doing so without being able to try it on. However of course I knew that Amazon would let me return it. Well let me tell you - it fit! My previous full size helmet was killing my neck because it was so heavy. After much research I knew I wanted this helmet. Oh my goodness...on our very first ride I must have leaned forward 5 times to tell my husband how much I loved this helmet! My neck wasn't hurting because it was so much lighter. I love everything about this helmet!

Lightweight but strong
This is my second HCI -100 . My original saved my life in a massive near death crash . This helmet is light weight but very strong and very comfortable. So I would recommend this helmet . I would say when your use to wearing a non dot beanie helmet this one does seem large but when you get use to it you feel odd without it .

Excellent helmet for the price
Excellent helmet for the price, fits well, perfect small size, (not too bulky), and great shape, slim and light. The dynamic of the helmet is such that its easy to move with it, its not as if you are wearing a bucket or lead weight, it is lightweight enough to make quick head movements and feel comfortable. The padding is strong, and maybe needs to be to pass DOT standards, but it does wear well.

This is a nice inexpensive helmet
This is a nice inexpensive helmet. I took the front visor off to keep the wind from moving my head. The only complaint that I have is I wish there was more padding inside. Overall it is a great helmet. I wore it for about 4 hours this past weekend on a ride and it was fine.

Mushroom
You will look like a mushroom if you have a narrow face...it felt like I was wearing a bicycle helmet. I returned the item and amazon scheduled my pick up for the next day. I would give amazon 5 stars, but I dont like the helmet.

There is a reason it is so cheap.
Thick enough to make you look like a mushroom.Sizing is also off. Returned because this Large was smaller than the Medium helmet that I normally wear.

Cheap advertising
Not as low-profile as advertised. The strap chokes the hell out of you. Don't be appealed by the low price. Youre better off going to a store and trying on a helmet for the right fit.

Nope. Not this one...
As always, hindsight is 20/20. I should have heeded the warnings of the other reviews. This helmet is ridiculously bad. It sits extremely high on the head. It seems to be taller than it is wide. You have to really cinch it down on your head to an almost unbearable tension to keep the lifting bearable. Won't buy another cheapo lime this again!
