Speedo Big Boys' Youth Splatter Splash Jammer Swimsuit

I know many reviewers said it was really small but I didn't took their advice, sorry I should have!! This is like a toddler size, I wanted it for my very slim 6yr old boy and was thrilled to see such a great offer on this size so after reading almost all the reviews I decided to take a chance and of course this would fit a doll!!! It is really tiny, the legs are extremely small as well as the waist, again, my kid is really really slim so I thought if this is supposed to be really fit it would work ok, it didn't!! The waist has not much give, not even with the strings untied, the opening on the legs have sort of a sticky material so it doesn't ride up that gives it less give so it is not fit for my kid. Looking at the size of it a 2-4yr old would be able to fit in it, not my kid, for a slim and tall 6yr old I would go 2 sizes up, actually I got a really great deal on another speedo jammer here on amazon a size 26 and fits great and I think it would fit for another year with no problem at all. Please take all the reviewers information into consideration but my guess is size up, 2 sizes up would be the best way to go.

Both my youth league swimmers wear these, but note that if you have owned the less expensive model of Speedo jammer these might fit a bit tighter. I would order one size up from the cheaper style, but the upside is that the fabric is a lot nicer and a bit more thickness to it so it will hold up better (probably why it's not as forgiving fit-wise). My kids wear a 26 in the "cheap style" Speedo and I went with a 30 on these and they fit perfect. Good suits, nice colors.

Quality is excellent, but being made in Mexico, believe the size 26 was a LatinAmerican ther than a US Size 26 which makes just about 1-2 years difference... Luckily they're supposed to be tight, so son was happy anyway :)..David

I bought these Speedo jammers for my 9-year-old son for swim team. He was using TYR in size 22, which just got too tight. He is on the smaller side and lean so I ordered size 24. However, they are too small! He loves the black and orange combination so I will return it and order a larger one, this time size 26. The fabric seems good and the color combinations are fun.

Smaller than expected. I also noticed the logo for speedo was in the back. Probably a reason why it was a good deal. The fabric is fine. The drawstring is flat, more like a shoelace. My son loves the colors.

My 42" 38# three year old loves his new 22 swim jammers. These fit perfectly and work well. They are compression so they have a tighter fit (in a good way). They look tiny, but stretch to fit. Price was awesome too.--UPDATE--6 months laterThese jammers wore very well. We used them at least 5 hours a week for 6 months during which they traveled at least 300 times down a waterslide (not an exaggeration). Finally a small hole wore out in the bum. The rest of the jammers are still in good shape, but I ordered a new pair since I don't know that I can repair them. My son is now 44" and about 40# and I still ordered a 22, as they still fit well when they wore out. Overall I was very pleased with the quality and look of these. The color did fade a bit in the pool overtime (as do all our suits.

I ordered these in size 22, because my son has another pair of Speedo jammers in size 22 that fit great. These were ridiculously small. I should have believed the other reviewers.

Did not fit at all. I checked manufaturers web site for sizing as well. Gave them to a friend who has a four year old and fitted great.
