Do these scratch the pain? if so what do you recommend to remove bugs?

The Viking does not scratch the paint at all, and it does a very good job at removing bugs and tree sap. I use it with the 'Tarminator' bug and sap remover spray, and it does an excellent job!

Will it scratch the "Plastic" wind shield on a motorcycle with regular use???

Don't own a motorcycle so can't say but it doesn't scratch the exterior of my camper exterior which is a bonded type of fiberglass.

Would this work to dry a shower stall after a shower? Is it absorbent enough?

Probably not. It is absorbent but it’s real use is to scrub
