Essentials Of Nerve Conduction Studies Paperback – July 30, 2012

Over the years I have had many such books about nerve conduction. I have seen most since 1980 and this is by far the best. I have a new tech who has been doing mostly eegs. He is certified in emg/ep also but worked a Pediatric hospital doing EEg only. He was a little bit "rusty on nerve conductions so I purchased this book. He is now up and running in one week and has even learned some of the new conductions. Small book designed for clinical practice. Has great pictures and explains artifactsGreat for Techs and Neurology residents. All you would ever need for clinical practice. This book will have everything you will need about Nerve conductions for Neuro boards and probablyNeurophysiology subspecialty certification. Best I have ever seen . Essentials of NCS is very nice book. I'm performing nurodiagnostic testing for a year now and this book is very helpful to me if I have a problem. I will recommend this book to anyone who is working in this field.

For a beginner, very useful to have around as a guide to Nerve Conduction. The author gives practical advice based upon her experiences. Very useful.

Very rudimentory. Not very useful for physicians. There are so many basic manuals available that are better I am having trouble understanding its purpose. Technicians have limited understanding of neuromuscular physiology and should leave instruction tothose who are more qualified.

Very good , with pitfalls and a large quantity is personal experience in how to perform a such tricky exam like this.

Amazing book which really makes a big difference in my techniques. Love this book!

I believe this book is both for the beginner and the experienced technologist. The authors left no essential detail out.
