I’ve used for cultivating kombucha style ginger beer plant and they are good for the purpose. I’d say not so suitable for say milk kefir. I like the open close mechanism and the ability to strain. But they are expensive for what they are.

The device is useful to drain fluid from the jar leaving behind granules Etc.

Wonderful, useful product. Highly recommended for water kefir making ease.

Great for water kefir but holes are too small for milk kefir

Nearly 20 quid for 2 plastic lids?! Just because this is trendy doesn't mean you need to rip people off this much

The holes get all clogged up. Might work for water but not milk. Shame.

This product arrived but it does not fit any of my Mason jars!!!!! I have Ikea mason jars. also branded Mason Jars, none of which were of any use. You obviously need the manufactures own jars. This should be stated with the lids.
